A nice large home with amazing views of Lake Michigan and surrounding woods. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and we didn't need to go out for meals. The design of the house is rather dated-an 80s contemporary with plenty of stairs. But very clean and neat and comfortable. One drawback was that the upper bedrooms got very hot and there didn't seem to be cold air coming out of the ac vents.The main level was very comfortable. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back! The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns.house is a bit quirky, as the master bedroom is on 2 levels.

This is a beautiful property on Lake Michigan. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms it was perfect for our girls getaway. We hope to rent it again and maybe make girls getaway an annual thing.

Our family enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful views that this house offers. Though the house had everything we needed and was a good location, it needs a deep cleaning and a lot of general maintenance. There was dust everywhere, especially in hard to reach areas, cobwebs in most corners of every room, stains on all of the carpet and rugs, and handprints and other dirt on walls, doors, and trim. The grill was full of grease and obviously hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time because the first time we lit it, it caught fire and the heat caused a crack in the kitchen window. Now we are being charged damage fees for the window. Additionally, the host was difficult to reach and would not respond to questions about erroneous charges. We had to contact VRBO Help Center.

We’re disappointed by this review, particularly because the concerns raised don’t reflect the overall condition of the home or the experience of most of our guests. We’re glad the guests enjoyed the house, property, location, and beautiful views. Our home is professionally cleaned and regularly deep cleaned, and we take great pride in maintaining it. As with any lake home surrounded by woods and nature, there can occasionally be a cobweb or a bit of dust in a difficult-to-reach nook. The photo shared in this review shows a cobweb tucked deep inside a light fixture—not an indication that the home is generally unclean. We also want to clarify that damage occurred during this stay, including a broken window and a stained carpet. Those charges were related to actual damage to the property, not routine fees or arbitrary charges. We understand that accidents happen, which is one reason VRBO offers vacation rental protection options for guests. We always strive to be responsive, transparent, and fair when addressing any concerns or damage. Despite the issues during this stay, we’re pleased the guests were able to enjoy the home and its setting. We will continue taking great care of the property and providing the clean, comfortable experience our guests have come to expect.

Great beach view and sand for the kids. The kitchen was well equipped, and overall the house was clean. The host was attentive with great communication and thorough written instructions. There was lots of parking space in a quiet and private location. Conveniently located close to town.

From the get go and the entire trip, the hosts communication was terrible. I sent multiple messages through the app and It took two more messages through the app to get a response back. We had multiple issues with the property and when I would send a message through the app, it would take hours even overnight to get a response. The main concern was the cleanliness. I can deal with dust and pet hair but when we found dead bugs matted in the carpet in the third story bedroom, that is unacceptable. There were so many bugs, we didn’t unpack and left all clothes in the suitcase. The basement game room has chairs next to windows ledges for seating and they are all covered in dead bugs. I brought this to the attention of the host and was told it’s part of country living. The host uses out off date pictures showing a nice sandy beach. Upon arrival, there was no beach at all. The spot up top was overgrown by weeds and we spent time picking those to have a place to sit. We chose this property based off the sandy beach. The back door that leads to the yard and lake doesn’t even latch which is a safety concern for children and dogs. We had to get a baby gate to keep that blocked off the entire trip. Multiple windows don’t open which sucked because the third floor is very hot. Again, the host didn’t care. Overall, I feel the host only cares about how fast he gets people in and out and doesn’t like dealing with issues brought up by renters. Renter beware!

Great space, very clean. Beautiful views. Loved having a full kitchen. Master bedroom was very comfortable. Overall after a few days we were settling into the house and it felt a bit like home away from home. Will definitely return!

The backyard and location on the lake is the star of this listing. The backyard and outdoor amenities provided was excellent. The architecture of the home is also unique and has plenty of space for people to spread out and come together. The internet worked well and the kitchen was well-stocked. The furniture in the living areas was comfortable.The renovations and updates listed in the description seem from a previous time. For example, the mattress in the master bedroom was sloped and dented. The bathrooms, kitchen, and wood floors were well cleaned. However, there was pet hair on items throughout the house, mouse dropping and dead bug carcasses in the 3rd floor bedroom, and some garbage that had been missed (e.g. old Culver's ice cream cup on screened-in porch shelf).We went before Memorial Day and only had four people, so place accommodated our needs at a good price for the location.

We loved our stay at this property. We were blown away by the beautiful views. The property had everything we needed, the master bedroom/bed were very comfortable (the only room we used) and we enjoyed watching the wildlife while eating dinner from the kitchen window. This would be a great place for multiple families or friend groups to stay during peak season!

The location of this house is ideal-right on the beach, close to other communities and near the state park. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The game room has a wide variety of fantastic equipment and there were lots of options in the game closet.

The home was very comfortable , just like a home away from home except I don’t have a beautiful beach in my backyard!! The location is phenomenal, the beach is gorgeous, the neighborhood is very nice. Quick drive distance to stores and restaurants. Every person in our group LOVED their time there.

I'm questioning how much experience this traveler has at staying at a vacation rental? There were bottles of shampoo and conditioner provided, under the sink of the primary suite's bathroom. The guest found them, but did not like the brand. I reimbursed them $12 for some Finesse that they purchased at the grocery store in Oostburg. It seems odd to take off four stars for that, doesn't it?

The house is just beautiful! Lots of outdoor lighting comes in the windows. The master bedroom is awesome! Kitchen had everything that we needed. The outdoor furniture was great! The best part was how close it was to get to the beach! We saw the most beautiful sunrises both mornings that we were there! Also, Uber is available to get a ride to Sheboygan and the American Club in Kohler. We had dinner at the Horse and Plow there and it was very good. Would definitely go back again!
