Lovely place and so private being so close to Denver. Would recommend for hiking & easy access to red rocks and the city as well as further west into the mountains.
Great communication, clear directions, clean, near Red Rocks, relaxing hot tub, and beautiful views! Works well for 2-3 couples as one of the rooms is downstairs.
We had a great time staying here! Gorgeous house, wonderful host, amazing views! Definitely appreciated having an AWD vehicle even in the summer. Saw a gray fox, hummingbirds, and a bear(s) that kept trying to get into the bear-proof garbage and our car. Thank you!
What a nice place! My hubby and I went for a quick birthday trip and this place was amazing. The views are unbelievable and the hot tub was fantastic. Nice and quiet. The house had everything we needed plus some. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We enjoyed the magnificent views and the hot tub. House well furnished and well kept. Communications with the owner were good and punctual. Check in was easy. Guess the only thing I would mention was that bears got in the recycling a couple of times and made a big mess. Would be great if there was a way to lock that can like the trash. Otherwise a pretty perfect stay. Thanks!
The Tree House really is cozy with the most beautiful views! I stayed with some friends to enjoy the hiking and shops/restaurants in Evergreen. There is a great hiking trail close to the property and Evergreen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is conveniently located about an hour outside of Denver. The beds are comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub. I will definitely be recommending staying here to everyone and coming back again.
This house at the top of the mountain was great! Communication with the host was easy and he answered all my questions! Check-in was seamlesss as was clean up and check out. The house has anything and everything you could need. The house was clean and updated. We were happy with the options of sleeping pillows and extra blankets and the beds were very comfortable. And finally, the view….wow! The view was amazing! A small deck downstairs and a large deck off the living room. No A/C but certainly not needing this week. Plenty of fans if you need them. We didn’t need it but there was an entire living area downstairs. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed this quaint, quiet hideaway. The place was clean and stocked with extras to make you feel at home. It was about half an hour from town and within an hour to most places we visited in/near Denver. It was nice to be in the mountains and was very quiet. We enjoyed the view of the sunrise and mountains from the deck. Great experience!
We stayed here the night before my wedding. And it was just what I needed. The hot tub was great! I loved waking up to the mountains and sipping coffee on the big deck. We ended up doing some morning yoga on the deck and had a great time. The only thing I would say is, if you are not confident driving up dirt roads this might deter some. The last bit of the road to the driveway is a bit rough but doable, so make sure you have an SUV to make it with ease.
The property was exactly as described. The views were just unbelievable. We were at the top of the mountain looking out over the rest of the world. The house was extremely clean and up to date. Red Rocks was about 40 minutes away for our Blues Travelers concert, Denver was about 45 minutes away for our Rockies Baseball game. Just a stunningly beautiful area, quiet, perfect place to simply relax and enjoy! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your house!

The property was quite lovely. The views are amazing. We stayed here to go to a concert at Red Rocks, about 40 minutes away. This would have been a fairly uneventful stay, but the day we arrived there was 8 inches of snow on the ground in early May! By the time the morning came it was over a foot! Fortunately, we had heeded the requirement to get a 4wd vehicle for our stay and had one capable enough to get up the road, and then out again. For reference, it was a new Ford Bronco, and I am not sure we would have made it in anything less. Renters should definitely be aware of this as the weather forecasts I was looking at only covered Evergreen, the town, but there is over 1000 feet of elevation difference between the town and the house, and the difference in snowfall was substantial. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful, and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for gorgeous mountain views and a well maintained house.
Maybe a bit of additional knowledge shared regarding the altitude for those not accustomed to higher elevations. Or to share that fully hydrated (water:))) upon arrival is a good idea.
Hi, I'm originally from Birmingham, Alabama, and I migrated my way out west (CO) in 2013. Small business owner and software engineer. Love the Evergreen area. It's a real gem.
