Super easy stay and very remote. Cabin is definitely rustic, but host provides a lot and it’s clean and a nice place to stay if you’re looking to camp. Loved it and would stay again.

I am glad you and your son liked it. I hope you saw the grass carp that weighs about 60 pounds. It looks like a submarine slowly patrolling the pond.

This was a last minute booking for us as our original rental had to be canceled two days before our trip due to issues the owner was having with the rental. This little cabin was clean, semi secluded (it had other cabin neighbors and you could hear/see traffic from the road) but there was a little mildew smell that needed aired out, inside walls look a little water warped. The patio and fire pit area could use some TLC but all functional and worked just fine. Outhouse was super clean. Not sure about the outdoor shower floor being a bed of leaf litter. Def bring flops or something to wear if using. Check in simple. Check out also simple, no long list of complicated rules. Wonderful price over all, we had a fun weekend.

Thank you, Maddy. We are very happy you came to visit and very happy that you found the accommodations to your liking. Please come again when all the leaves are on the trees. It is quite beautiful then.

Will be back soon!

This was an awesome little place to rent for the weekend! Very clean, secluded, and not too far from everything to do. Charles is also a great and accommodating host. I'll DEFINITELY rent from him again!

I would be most happy to have Shane and his companion as guests again. They appeared to relax and enjoy themselves. They are a very pleasant couple.

It was very cute and quiet. Besides no electricity, no shower or bathroom, and a messy area around cabin, all was good otherwise !

It was everything I was looking for. A primitive site for a weekend of hiking. It was very clean, comfortable, with some nice extra amenities.Like propane heater, extra lights, wash bowl, and pitcher. It was more expensive than I thought a primitive cabin might be. But overall I'm very happy with the experience!

Exactly as described. The cabin was so well insulated from the cold that we only ran the heater in the morning and evening for ~15 minutes and it kept itself a comfortable temperature (we were there mid October). The hosts provided extras like matches, lanterns, and chairs around the fire among others that made our visit even better. All guests park in the same place, so only 1 of the 3 cabins allows you to park right outside. However, a nice quality off road wagon was available for us to easily pull our items to the cabin in one trip. Oasis coffee and other restaurants are only 15 minutes away, but we got to still enjoy the camping experience. The outhouse was so clean it seemed brand new. I would absolutely stay here again. We recommend bringing extra water for brushing teeth etc but there is a water spigot if needed.

Check your emails before going

The cabin was nice but i booked 2 days and only got to stay for one. I wasnt sent the info to get in (acess code) and couldn't get in contact with them until the 2nd day. Vrbo couldnt either. They told me i would get reimbursed but still have not. They were nice on the phone once i finally got in contact with them but the not being reimbursed due to them not allow me access in a timely fashion and having to book a hotelfor that first night really just kinda bothers me still.

The property owner was very nice. There was a communication issue due to a booking site glitch. The description of the "cabins" on expedia is misleading. These are finished sheds with no power, lighting, or plumbing. Its a shed with windows, a vinyl laminated floor and paneling on the walls. Heat is a propane space heater which didn't feel safe. There were fire and carbon monoxide alarms inside but i wasn't confident they had working batteries. So we didnt use the heater. The "cabin" was clean but there was an odor of old shed and bug spray. The bed was also clean but very uncomfortable. The listing said 1/2 bath. There is no bathroom or plumbing. The bathroom is 2 port o johns. Both clean but in the other side of the lot. The cabin area is completely unlit. So at night its pitch black. The property owner gave us some small flashlights to use to get back and forth to the car and port o johns. The owners house and yard is lit with solar lights so i found it odd that cabins that were rented to guests didnt at least have some sort of lighting. At least for walk ways. There were small lanterns provided for light inside as well. There is also a pinic table and some chairs outside but everything was dirty needed pressure washing. I wasn't expecting perfect accommodations but for the price I expected more than an unlit shed with a foam matress, port o johns and dollar store lanterns.
