My overall stay in the cottage was a wonderful experience. The place was decorated beautifully. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Lovely place!
Dawn was great with any questions i had! Everything was just as stated , plus more! This was the cutest place to stay at! My family and i loved the set up and every detail.
The property was very clean and nicely furnished . I had everthing i needed for a one week stay. The owner went above expectation to make sure I had an enjoyable stay
I will suggest visiting the art store across the steet
This cabin was so cozy and cute. I especially loved being near the railroad track. I love trains and this was the first time for me seeing a passenger train! There were plenty of towels, linens, dishes, and utensils. We were there during the annual Strawberry Festival and were able to walk to the event. The host was easy to contact and very friendly.
I grew up a block from this property and loved being able to walk to everything like I did back then. This was the perfect location for the festival! The cottage was cute and plenty of space for the 2 of us. Yes there is a train but I knew that and there wasn’t an issue…bring a sound machine Prime location! Clean and very responsive! Would stay again. Only suggestion would be to have a mirror in the bedroom (maybe on the back of door) as well since bathroom is smaller and the shower was difficult to find the hot water spot just right (between 2-3 is the sweet spot).

Hey Stephanie. Full length mirror is a good suggestion
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Wifi was fast, water was always hot, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The location is quiet. All in all, it was perfect for some R&R. I gave 4 stars for the checkin process because we didn't receive the door code until after we arrived, which is something that is usually sent with the address. I messaged the owner and received a quick response. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little cottage with us!

Thank you for booking with us. We do apologize for the door access code issue. We are setting up an automated response on the platform to prevent delays in the future.
Great place except for walkway to stair entrance. Path to the entry is treacherous. We were lucky that we didn't sprain an ankle or twist a knee. Pavers are unstable and ground looked as though a large excavation job had been done and not repaired. We arrived after dark and had to be very careful getting our items into the unit.

We do apologize about the yard. A leaking pipe in the yard caused the disruption but all has been repaired. It would have been done this weekend but we did not want to disturb your stay.
Thanks for booking with us and come back soon!!
Very disappointed with the entire stay! The master bedroom had a 4.5 ft high bed with a horrible mattress. The bed was so big it took up most of the room. Had to turn sideways just to try to get into bed. To get into bed you had to turn sideways a flop into it and then try to push over. We actually needed a step stool or latter to get in bed and one was not provided! The living room funiture was like sitting on floor. The double futton had a broken electrical pulg sticking out that caught my hand. The shower and kitchen were very good. The toilet was again like sitting on the floor! It was advertised with washer and dryer but that was in a beat up old out building that you had to walk on grass to get to it!! The patio was filthy with a grill on it tat had not been cleaned in years! There was a rusted fan hanging by wires and some kind of electrical wiring in a socket!! The cottage is very close to train track and trains ran all day!! We had a most miserable time! I woul nevery stay again!! The description on VRBO with pictures is nothing like it really was!! Horrible and I will never use VRBO again!!! It was a rip off!!

Mr. Castell: We are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. The cottage photos are actual photos of the space and have not been digitally altered. The descriptions are an accurate depiction of the property.
Upon your arrival, you called about the WiFi not working and we were able to assist you in using the correct password (which was already provided in the guestbook in the property). Also, when we spoke, you mentioned the need for a step stool and you were offered a step stool. We would have been happy to accommodate your need but you declined.
As to the trains, there is a disclosure in the description that this home is located on Railroad Avenue and there are trains that pass regularly.
The patio is cleaned every time a guest checks in and out and the grill is less than one year old.
Lastly, the washer and dryer are in an exterior building in the rear of the home. Again, accurately depicted with photos in the listing.
We will look into your complaints with the cleaning crew and are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
