Welcome to the Lone Pine Ranch Guesthouse!
Nestled just a few miles east of Ellensburg, WA, our guesthouse is a charming retreat set among peaceful hay fields and cattle pastures. Originally built over 100 years ago as the farmhouse on our property, it’s been thoughtfully renovated to provide modern comforts while preserving its timeless character.
Step through the front door into a cozy living space featuring a three-seat sofa, two swivel chairs, and additional seating as needed. A 65" smart TV makes for a perfect movie night or a cozy way to pass a rainy afternoon. You’ll also find board games, playing cards, and a curated selection of books and magazines for your enjoyment.
The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped to help you prepare most meals. We provide essentials like coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, and cooking spray—just bring the rest of your groceries. The dining area comfortably seats six.
The primary bedroom features a king-sized Sealy Posturepedic innerspring mattress, a work desk, a second 65" smart TV, and an attached full bathroom.
The second bedroom includes a queen-sized Sealy Posturepedic bed and dual nightstands, while the third bedroom offers a twin bed with a Beautyrest innerspring mattress and a trundle bed with a memory foam mattress underneath. (Please note the trundle has a weight limit of approximately 125 lbs and is best suited for children or a small adult.)
The home has three bathrooms: a full ensuite in the primary bedroom, a ¾ bath near the second and third bedrooms, and a half bath located near the kitchen. We provide basic toiletries including hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please bring any additional personal items you may need.
Laundry machines are available for your use, along with enough detergent for a few loads during your stay.
Heating and cooling are provided by a mini-split unit in the living room, with baseboard heaters throughout for extra warmth. The old fireplace in the living room is decorative only and no longer in use. Winter guests may find the floors a bit chilly—slippers are encouraged! In the summer, evenings are typically cool, and screened windows plus portable fans in each bedroom help keep things comfortable.
We live next door and are available for urgent needs, though as a busy family, we may not always be immediately accessible. The guesthouse is part of a duplex and shares one small wall with neighbors to the south. While it’s not a typical duplex setup, we do ask that you respect their space. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Safety Considerations:
For the well-being of our children and animals, we kindly ask that guests do not bring pets. A creek runs behind the guesthouse and there’s a large pond nearby, so please keep a close eye on children when outdoors.
