The Blue Bird 2 bedroom 2 bath home and the is a place to kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. All the features of home without the worries. Makes for a great getaway, business trip, or staycation with possibilities in each direction. Smith Lake (10 minutes) to enjoy water and outdoor activities and to the East is Cullman (14 minutes) to do some shopping and eating while exploring the downtown area. Plus located 43 minutes to Birmingham to the South and 53 minutes to Huntsville to the North. Located couple minutes off of I-65. Guest access. Guest will have access to the whole property.

Great house! This place is very well thought out and just beautifully decorated. Myself, my wife, and our 11 and 14 year old children fit this space perfectly. This is so much more comfortable than trying to fit a family into a hotel room for several days. You get so much for your money here.

Excellent Place

Very clean, very well maintained, very comfortable, lots attention to detail. One of my favorite stays. Owner has the home well stocked and ready for any stay. I stayed with my son and his fishing partner for a recent event. The house is in a great location.

Best property we’ve ever stayed at

Exceptional cleanliness! This property had everything we needed and all the space we needed! We have two infants and this provided all the space we needed for their stuff. The whole house was so beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great home that has been nicely remodeled. Plenty of parking for a trailer or boat. Very clean and convenient to Cullman. Owner was pleasant and easy to communicate with. See you next year!

Neat as a pin

Our second visit. Everything was as nice as we remembered. Well-maintained and very comfortable. We discovered a beautiful creek in the back yard and walked in it! The neighborhood is so peaceful, we slept well here! Definitely recommend this little jewel.

Super cute and spotless with huge back yard

We come to Good Hope every year for an annual family reunion. Grew tired of the same-old hotels, they're just not our style. Found this little jewel on VRBO and it was perfect for two sisters. Everything was totally renovated with tasteful modern touches. Love the charging station for our cell phones. Every room has a quiet ceiling fan. Beds are comfortable. Really charming place. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Hope to stay here every year!

Everything I could need or want.

Very clean, pleasant and comprehensive little house. Well stocked (the Keurig and K-cups were an appreciated extra). Suited my needs perfectly. Large yard was nice to have to look over sitting in the shade out back and pleasant to sit out front as well. Situation was very local Alabamish :-). 7 minutes to a great little 18 hole golf course -Cross Creek. Only 20 minutes to the shrine where I was at retreat. So coming home to this "cozy retreat home" was nice.

Review of Blue Bird

Did not receive password to wi-fi & not posted anywhere in home. The television had no local channels & not connecting to wi-fi could not stream from phone. It is very difficult to get into the property with a boat. I had to block traffic trying to back in with the boat, especially when school was taking in or letting out. Would not recommend staying here with a boat. It is a lovely place.

My husband and I have traveled to Cullman from Northwest Arkansas several times over the past few months for his job. This was the first stay we felt truly cozy and comfortable and loved how convenient it was to everything! I work remote and the WiFi was great. We stayed 11 nights so comforts of home are definitely important for us! I loved that she thought of all the extras like toothpaste and toothbrush because I’m the worst about remembering them!! We will definitely try to book this cute little house again in the future!
