We had a wonderful time at the Santa Fe Ranch Eatate. The house was decorated for Christmas, there were plenty of beds for our family, and we had a wonderful week.
Celebrated My 70th BD with Family -All 7 Grandkids!
Our stay was amazing, a good way to celebrate my 70th. Our daughters & spouses & all 7 grandkids (Ages 7-29).
The location was excellent & we all enjoyed reading the history of the property enjoyed readythei
Rancho San Marcos was such a great place for our family to stay. We had 13 people and 3 dogs and it couldnt have been better. The pool was a lot of fun and the reading about the history of the place was amazing. It was well stocked and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
This property was absolutely divine. William and his wife have taken painstaking care to attend to every little detail to make the space warm and inviting. The house was immacculate, well stocked, and incredibly comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.
This property was absolutely amazing, the views are unreal, the architecture is stunning, and character is so sweet. Our host was super attentive and helpful!
Will's place was fantastic. Every room has a story, and you can tell that this place was designed with love. Thanks for letting us stay at your place, it will sure be missed!
We loved everything about this house. There was plenty of room for all of us and was stocked with essentials. Will is a great host, he is responsive to questions and even let us know when he would be on the property to tend to the cows so we could visit with them! The pool and game room were great for the kids and the adults.
This was an amazing place for our families Spring Break. A quiet get away close to all of our planned activities. The Ranch hand came out once a day to bring us firewood and fresh eggs and took out the trash daily. The views were stunning and the hot tub was so relaxing.
Perfect place for our group to unwind and enjoy the magical surroundings of Santa Fe. Tons of space with loads of history. Gigantic pool with mountain views. Didn’t appear to have AC in the activity room but we spent most of our time by the pool/hot tub. Highly recommend!
Great pace to stay for a 4 day weekend . Very nice owners. Everyone had fun. Plenty of room for everyone. Only about 25 minutes to downtown Santa Fe.(old Town) . I would stsr thete again.
Our family vacation this year we stayed at this cool place, ages 20-90. We did a lot of exploring, reading of history regarding the house and surrounding area. Great location, easy to hit some of our destinations to hike, explore for rocks and shop the cities. Kitchen had everything us foodies needed, including great grill outside. Great communication with host! We had snow first few days but by the end it was almost 70 degrees-who says you can’t ski and get a sunburn while in the Ojo spa in one week!

Unique
Beautiful ranch home; best part of the home was the outdoor patio which everyone in our group enjoyed. Most disappointing feature was the outdoor pool and multilevels of the indoor spaces- unlit steps to different rooms, rock steps to pool with no handrails, and general inaccessibility for handicapped made this home less attractive.
Plenty of outdoor spaces. We spent most of the time on the patio. Nice breeze & central to keep an eye the the children. Liked that there were toys for the children. Pool towels & toys/floats were an added convenience. Downside was the internet quality. Also it’s about a 20-25 min drive to heart of Santa Fe. All in all a great trip
This was a beautiful property not to far from Albuquerque and within an easy drive of Santa Fe. We had multiple families with children staying and it was comfortable for everyone. Lots of historical items and books to browse if that's your jam, and the game room and great rooms had activities for kids and adults alike. Make sure to check if the *heated* pool is open/available or not, because we were surprised it was drained for the season. Also be aware three of the bedrooms are connected such that you have to walk through each one to get to the bathroom on that side of the house. Great stay overall!
We enjoyed being together as a extended family over Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for our 4 families (9 adults & 6 children). We loved being out in the country, yet close to Santa Fe. We balanced our family time at the hacienda with some exploration of Santa Fe and Los Alamos. We made our own meals, had a s’mores night after stargazing outside, watched the one grandkid who couldn’t join us play in a college basketball game while we cheered the live-streamed game from the “art studio.” We read the history and art articles in each room of the house and the information guest book. We marveled at Indian relics and fossils and an incredibly diverse collection of books. We had runners out each morning and boot camp exercising for the kids. We were enthralled with this home’s history as we created more special memories for our own family. Thanks for sharing your property with us.
Do you want to have no neighbors except the humming birds and lizards. Look no further. The property is beyond beautiful. Plenty of sleeping options nice kitchen and hang out spaces. One of the best pools I have ever swam in! If you want a farm retreat this is the place to go. Best part it is 15 mins away from Santa Fe.
Our stay was amazing! The pictures do not do the ranch justice. Everything from communication with William to the house and property itself was just perfect. There is so much history in the house itself and William took the time to post guides around the house and in the book of information at the entrance. Our whole group had something to do while at the house. There was a game room, good connection for wifi and streaming, toys, sun room, trails, and so much more! Highly recommend you stay here. Even my review doesn't do William's place justice!
This place was wonderful. The plan had been for the family to get together here and poke around Santa Fe and Taos, but the house and the surrounding area was so lovely and relaxing that we really just stayed there most of the time. The pool was relaxing and bigger than I expected. So many little nooks to to relax and hang out. E may just come back again and plan to stay at the house the whole time!
