Welcome to the Musical Mountain House! This vacation home is the perfect stay for exploring Virginia wine country, trips to Shenandoah National Park or a just weekend getaway relaxing in the mountainside hot tub or sitting by the fire pit. It is easily accessible to the Appalachian Trails, Shenandoah river, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Skyline Caverns, wineries, and downtown Front Royal. This adorable vacation home is great for large groups or two families and only 1hr 20m from DC.
The Musical Mountain House is one of those properties that has something for everyone and all the right juxtapositions. Mountainside quiet where you can't hear a single highway but still with speedy wifi and grocery delivery. Vintage speakers but they hook up to your smart phone.. Room for everyone to eat together but two living rooms for two movies at a time. Impeccable and professionally designed interiors but with actually comfy couches. Outdoor space to run around as free as the neighbor's chickens but fenced in decks and yards to contain furry friends and/or toddlers. And then there's the h's: hot tub, hammock, history, hiking, hwineries.
