Cozy Modern Updated Poconos Cabin with Huge Deck

Freshly renovated, modern cabin escape. Deck living at its finest, this house is a relaxation dream home. Whether you prefer to curl up with a good book, prepare a great meal with friends or gear up for family game night, The Stepping Stone has you covered. Thoughtfully designed so you can easily gather as a group or spread out to enjoy three levels of living space…though you may just want to spend all your time on the deck, cozied up by the gas fire table!

The space

Walk straight up the stairs to the spacious deck, complete with a large grill, dining table, and comfortable cushioned couch situated around an easy-to-use gas fire table. This is the perfect spot to enjoy nature under a canopy of leaves from the surrounding maple trees, and you just might spot a deer passing by.

The house has 3 proper, private bedrooms– one king (upstairs), and 2 queen bedrooms (main level) Each bedroom includes a closet and dresser. There is additional sleeping space in the open loft which has a twin daybed with trundle, and in the cozy basement, where we have a sleeper sofa.

There is a full bathroom with shower on the upstairs (king bedroom/loft) level, a full bathroom with bath tub on the main level (brand newly renovated!), and a full bath on the basement level, also newly renovated.

Our home features an open layout between the kitchen and living room, with the upstairs loft overlooking the living area with Smart TV and bluetooth soundsystem (connects to your phone, and also plays CDs, casettes, and records). The kitchen was just redesigned and updated with brand new appliances including an induction stove, and has a large dining table that can comfortably seat all 8 guests so you can enjoy meals together inside or out!

The finished basement provides a second living room with a large Smart TV, and more importantly-- a wet bar! Walk out to the yard to spend some time around the wood burning fire pit, the perfect spot if you're looking to roast some marshmallows!

Laundry is located on the basement level.
Other things to note
The house is nestled in the trees just off of the bustling Roamingwood Lake in the Hideout – an amenity filled gated community. The nearby beach, basketball court, and marina are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what The Hideout has to offer. Activities for all weather and all seasons abound – pool, beach (with kayak, paddleboard rental available), rec center (tennis courts inside and out, pickleball, game room, sauna), and an art center for those less outdoors-inclined, golf, fishing, and even winter activities including skiing and tubing at the ski hill, and so much more !

Badges are required to enjoy the amenities-- the house comes with 6 amenity badges which MUST be left at the house upon checkout! Any lost pass will be subject to replacement fee. Our badges include pool access.

Rentals in the hideout require a rental agreement and registration-- you will need to submit the agreement no later than 3 days prior to your stay. A late fee will be charged for any late submissions, and if you do not submit a rental agreement, you will not be granted entry the community. On arrival, there is a quick check in process at the main gate where you will receive a parking tag, and a welcome packet containing 3 additional temporary amenity badges (these ones do not have to be returned at check out). Additional badges and passes can be purchased directly from the POA. And then you're free to enjoy all that the community has to offer!
