The Ricardo mid-century modern vacation rental was once owned by a close friend of Lucille Ball and was Lucy's Palm Springs hideaway. Located near the once popular El Mirador hotel, The Ricardo is a 5-minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. With tall green hedges, amazing mountain views, and zero traffic noise, you can see why Lucy felt a strong sense of privacy and relaxation during her time at the property.

PLEASE NOTE that a city-required 12.5% occupancy tax on the nightly rate will be added to the reservation by VRBO payment request after booking. VRBO does not currently allow the tax to be added to a line item so this will be in addition to the total shown.

The property was private, beautiful, and clean. It came with various amenities such as mini golf putting patch, corn holes, foosball table, and board games that we enjoyed. My family and I had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time at The Ricardo! We loved hanging by the pool during our hot July stay. We enjoyed using the BBQ and well appointed kitchen for many of our meals. The home is super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fun in the sun!

We had a such a great stay. The home was incredibly clean and decorated beautifully. We had our 1.5 year old with us so we chose this home so there would be plenty to do while he napped and after he went to bed - we were not disappointed! Highly recommend.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The house was accurately described, clean and very local to downtown Palm Springs. Communication was easy and fast with our host. Very family friendly, had a lot of amenities within the property and kept my 1 year old entertained during the entire weekend! We will definitely be back to the Ricardo in the near future!

Perfect girls get-away

We had the most fun at The Ricardo. Every single thing was perfect from the jasmine outside the kitchen, to the little vignettes all around the property, to the games, to the AMAZINGLY comfortable beds. The main feature of saltwater pool area gave us the best Saturday we’ve shared in a long time. They thought of everything and we instantly began talking about when we could all return. Highly, highly recommend to everyone!

With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 1900 square feet of living space, the home is suitable for families or friends groups hoping to have fun under the desert sun. You are sure to spend your days lounging by the pool with palm trees swaying in the background highlighting the mountain views.

The sleeping arrangements include; two rooms with California King Beds, a third bedroom with a Queen bed, and a Queen pullout sofa bed in the living room.

Lastly, cleaning is complimentary for all our guests.
