About this property
Spacious Family Home in the Middle of the White Mountains!
The Mountain House has everything to make your family's stay in the White Mountains memorable. Come and enjoy the peace, fun and freedom of this single family home.
The house boasts year-round views of Mt. Washington & Wildcat Ridge that provide the perfect backdrop for your morning cup of coffee or evening beverage. Unlike many homes with mountain views, there’s a spacious backyard to enjoy. You'll be located in the picturesque and historic Jackson Village - 5 minutes away from Storyland and 15-30 minutes from the bustle of North Conway, as well as all of the area's hiking trails and ski resorts. The chef of the family will be drooling over the enormous eat-in kitchen complete with dual ovens (one cutting-edge speed oven) and all of the tools to make a gourmet meal. After an exciting day on the trails or the slopes, enjoy a luxurious shower then cozy up by the gas stove for a relaxing evening. The home has a lot of unique amenities to enjoy including a record player, mountain-themed library, Apple TV, Bose sound system and Playstation 5. The children of the family will be right at home thanks to the bunkbeds, a kids table in the kitchen, children's books and indoor/outdoor toys. A Pack n' Play crib with changing table add-on, jogging stroller and a high-chair will accommodate the littlest ones, as well. Lastly, while most homes in the Valley rely on unfiltered well water, we have a full-home water filtration and softening system, ensuring clean water throughout the home for your safety. Bedroom 1 (first floor): King Bed with private en-suite bath | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Two Twin Bunk Beds | Additional Sleeping: Pack 'n Play (fits comfortably in Bedroom 1/3 closets for privacy)

About the host
Hosted by Chris & Kara T.
Hello. We're Chris & Kara. We are life-long New Englanders that grew up near the beaches of Rhode Island and fell in love with the mountains of New Hampshire. We're proud parents of two young boys and enjoy the active lifestyle that the White Mountains provide.
Why they chose this property
Our family took a leap of faith and decided to pursue our dream of owning a second home in the town of Jackson and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The dream consisted of creating special family memories in the area while helping others create their own. The house has given us the ability to regularly enjoy the area's natural beauty as well as the seemingly endless list of four-season activities including hiking, skiing, biking, snowshoeing, swimming, kid-friendly amusement parks and many peaceful moments away from the city. We have multi-generational connections to Jackson Village and are excited to provide you with all of the insight and advice to make your stay memorable. Thanks for your interest and for helping make our dream a reality.
What makes this property unique
Despite being 10 miles away, Mt. Washington feels right in the backyard (pictures don't do it justice). We absolutely love watching the view change based on the season, the time of day or even the weather. Our quaint road makes the property extremely peaceful and quiet, which is perfect as an escape from the bustle of daily life (and we'd love if you could help us keep it that way).
