The owner needs to do some updating, the sofa was broken.

Over all it was good, the closeness to the beach was awesome. It’s so quiet but yet 5 minutes from town and great restaurants.

Great Location

This Condo is in a great location, very close to the beach with easy and private access to the beach. Overall I liked this place but will not stay in this unit unless the owner updates two main issues that I had and is the reason for my 3 (almost 2) star rating. The neighborhood seems very safe and quiet but I am a firm believer that anything can happen anywhere. With that being said, my first main issue is security. The front door only has a handle lock, no dead bolt lock and 2 windows with no way to prevent someone from looking in. Every other unit had a dead bolt at a minimum. Kicking in that door will take little to no effort. (even with the metal plate that's installed) The back sliding glass door does not have any added security and can be very easily opened. My next main issue is privacy. None of the vertical blinds worked properly and some were missing the slats so anyone could easily look in. The front door has 2 windows with no blinds, the window in the kitchen was missing 1 slat and the sliding door in the bedroom was missing several slats. These are easy DIY updates that should not have been a concern. I would recommend and stay at this unit again if these concerns are addressed.

When we arrived there was already someone in the home that booked through another site.

When we arrived there was already someone in the home that booked through another site. We were left standing on the street looking for a place to stay at midnight. We didn’t find a hotel until 2:00 am and VRBO said they couldn’t do anything to help us find anything because it was after midnight. They did send a nice email saying they were sorry and offered to cover a hotel room for the first night. I don’t understand how they can allow a host to leave someone stranded without penalties for the host when they double book something. Especially when they are utilizing multiple sites to list a property.
