There is a built in storm shelter and laundry room with washer and dryer. The fenced in back yard is private and spacious for guest to enjoy with fire pit and charcoal grill on the patio.

Historic downtown hartselle offers , antiques, boutiques, renowned dress and bridal shops, restaurants,ice cream , coffee shops and automotive charging stations . All within walking distance ( .4 mls )of the guesthouse.

My dad and I stayed at the property for a fishing tournament on Wheeler Lake. Everything was 5 star for fishermen bringing a boat like the carport which we parked our boat under. The owners were very kind checking on us throughout the visit making sure we had everything we needed. We plan to stay again Highly Recommended!

We enjoyed our stay. Although there were some issues with the door and the entry pad, Mary did not hesitate to interrupt her busy life to promptly take care of our situation.There is a train track nearby that goes through town with multiple crossings. Initially, the train whistle was a nighttime disturbance however we eventually adjusted to the sounds. The neighborhood has older homes although mostly well maintained and safe. The street is busy, especially during certain times of the day. We did not consider it dangerous. Just a little noisy at times. The rooms are clean and roomy as were the closets. The kitchen is well stocked although if you are preparing meals, there are no serving bowls. We used the cookware for serving. There is a lot of nice flatware, plates, bowls, glasses, cups etc. The backyard is large, well maintained. We would definitely recommend the Guest House.
