Our Seventh floor condo (100 % Ocean View) has been NEWLY REFURNISHED in beautiful Island style. New furniture, bathroom, art, floors, wall coverings - it is STRIKING!

Breathtaking views of neighboring islands Lanai and Molokai are but part of the attractions from the spacious lanai that await you. From December through April each year the magnificent Humpback whales frolic in the blue Pacific before your very eyes. Hawaiian green sea turtles, monk seals, octopus, spinner dolphins, and a huge variety of tropical fish can be found in the sea just a few steps away from the building. Snorkeling is fantastic in the water on our beach or walk south to “Black Rock” and challenge yourself to enjoy the swim back.

Views from the seventh floor are spectacular as an entire wall of glass affords unparalleled views of the ocean in front of you. Unlike some other units in the building, the lanai is completely open-to-view the ocean; no screen walls to restrict the marvelous vista. Our 7th floor, center unit location offers full 180-degree views – the best in the building, as well as complete privacy. The condominium’s kitchen features full size appliances, granite counter tops, range, microwave, dishwasher, and all the chefs’ tools imaginable. Truly a 'cook's kitchen'. The twin stainless steel gas barbecues at the pool cabana are also available to help you create really memorable Maui meals.

The Maui Kai is a rare find and is featured in all the guidebooks due to its outstanding location, value, and great attractions. Our home has a huge wall mounted flat screen TV in the living room, flat panel TV and Blu-ray/DVD player in the bedroom, movie library, and plenty of reading material. FREE WIFI throughout. The open floor plan provides fabulous views of the ocean from the kitchen, eating bar, living and dining room, and even the bedroom.

With Lahaina a few minute drive to the south, Kapalua a few minute drive to the north, Farmer’s Market a short walk away, and Whalers Village a half hour stroll down the beach or boardwalk, the condo’s location can’t be beat.

Amazing ocean views

The Maui Kai building is ideally located with fantastic views overlooking the water with Molokai and Lanai in the distance. This one bedroom unit is clean, the bathroom was recently updated, it has a great island feel. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware and cookware. We have stayed here several times and enjoy being close to several beaches, many restaurants, the food truck lot, and a good grocery store. A morning walk on the Kaanapali boardwalk is convenient and easy. The building is quiet and we enjoy the flexibility it offers. Watching sunsets from the lanai can't be beat, and this time we got to watch some surfers just in front of the building as well, due to the high surf. Often turtles can also be spotted right in front of the building. Any issues we have had here (and they have been very few) were quickly resolved with the on-island contact.

Perfect location and beautiful view

I will say that this has reached our favorites list. It was an incredible stay. I was there for about a week for work and the location and view was spectacular. I highly recommend Java Jazz across the street for great eats and drinks. As far as the apartment, it was amazing. AC was comfortable, we had everything we needed and that VIEW!!!! You could see turtles and the sunset was amazing after a long day at work. We will be back. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Relaxing week

The view was great and one day we saw so many whales we lost count. The bed was comfortable as was the furniture in the living room area. We did have a problem getting good tv reception but we didn’t watch much anyway. The internet connection was good. While it would be nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit it was just across the hall which was convenient enough. We would recommend this property to others.

Toronto beacher

My husband and I spent 10 days in this amazing condo. This condo was very clean and very well taken care of (you can tell it's like a home). Everything we needed in a kitchen was there plus there were bathroom & beach towels, supplies, etc., and the condo management office was super helpful. The location was fantastic because you could walk to stores, cafes, restaurants and markets and there is even a bus service into Whaler's village. There was also no problems with parking. The best part of this condo, however, was the location on the beach. Not only could we see whales, sea turtles and spotted eagle rays right from the lanai, there is no view like the one from this condo - we saw some of the most spectacular sunsets we may ever see. It was the perfect place to have champagne breakfasts and a glass of wine while watching the sun set. We would definitely recommend staying in this condo and would definitely stay there again if we are able to get back.

Location, location, location!

Positives: The location was literally right on the beach! Most of the time you couldn't walk in front of the building without getting wet. Nice beach on either side of it. We spent hours watching turtles off the balcony. Once saw whale spouts with binoculars. The bed was very comfortable. The gas grills in the pool area were very nice and we used them several times. The grocery store was in walking distance. Negatives: The unit is very outdated. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable. We never found any pot holders to remove dishes from the oven. There wasn't a washer & dryer in the unit. It was coin operated in the hall.

Absolutely breath taking

This property exceeded all of our expectations. The pictures in the listing definitely don’t do it justice. We are checking out in two hours so I am writing this review from the lanai. Currently in my field of view are three sea turtles, whales spouting in the distance and two beautiful islands. The lanai is so amazing that we spent the last two days of our 8 night stay on the lanai, just soaking everything in and do not regret a second of it. The location is great. While it’s not a resort, it’s a 5 minute walk next door if you want to enjoy a pool day or something. Duke’s next door was delicious. The Inu pool bar two properties down at the Westin makes the best Mai Tais in my opinion and they had no problem with us relaxing and buying drinks by the pool most of a day. Thank you Bob for the lifetime memories my wife and I will have of this trip.

Stunning view and privacy!!!

Sounds of the ocean....Stunning view!!! We loved the privacy this location afforded us. We were in walking distance to many resorts and restaurants but we did not have the noise of big pools and slides nor were people able to look at us on our balcony. This condo has a direct straight view to the water, Molokai and Lanai. We saw dolphins, turtles, outriggers, catamarans and other ocean fun all from our balcony. The condo itself is just like the pictures. There are usable beaches to the right and left but directly in front there are only rocks. Loved it! The bed was comfortable. We loved that we had both a fan and a/c. The condo is a close drive to downtown Lahaina and Whaler's Village. Safeway isn't far and Times market is practically across the street. There is a 12 cup coffee maker. There were filters and we bought fresh ground coffee. If you plan to cook, just know you will need some basics like salt & pepper or spices. We reached out to our host about a minor issue and he got back to us promptly. All in all, a lovely, relaxing trip! We are already trying to plan another visit to #704!!!

Best trip ever!

What a beautiful condo! Everything was as listed, the condo is quiet, clean, and everything worked well, no issues whatsoever. Fantastic location for picnic dinners on the beach and viewing sunrise and sunset. We saw dolphins and turtles from the lanai. Location was great to access West Maui, Whaler’s Village, Lahaina, without feeling like we were in a crowded touristy spot. Walking distance to a food truck park that had excellent food can’t say enough. Great things about this place would love to come back.

Great option for North Kaanapali

Property is a little dated, but well maintained; amenities include cabana area with free computer/printing. Pool is great and not too crowded. Unit itself is comfortable with a fabulous on ocean experience. Easy access to beachfront walk that goes all the way to other end of Kaanpi beach. Will rent again when on Maui!

Beautiful Condo

Nice condo with a beautiful ocean view. The property itself was straight forward and to the point- coin operated laundry, small pool and hot tub. However, it is walking distances to resorts and beaches which is convenient. Close to great local restaurant. Condo is well stocked with towels, beach chair, extra pillows, and blankets. I think cushions, carpets, extra blankets and kitchen knobs are due for a deep clean as they did not feel/smell the cleanest. Overall enjoyed our time and a solid place to stay.

Great location!

Location of property was amazing! The condo was adequately furnished with outdated things. That didn’t bother us tho! The condo itself is very outdated and worn also, which wasn’t that much of an issue either! What bothered us was, although surface cleaning was great, in corners, behind bedroom door and especially behind toilet on floor, there was mold! An easy thing to take care of, but pretty icky to find when you are paying a reasonable cleaning fee! Also, no kitchen towels or hot pads to be found! Loved the lani !

Wonderful

Exactly as described. We have stayed in several locations in this area in years past -but this was a great location, close to everything and a very quiet complex with free parking! We had two wonderful weeks of beautiful sunsets as well as moonlight views overnight on the ocean and daily whale watching. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning on the lanai and saw whales every time. The laundry and soda machine is right across the hall- super easy access, if needed. Really a wonderful home to relax in and enjoy the views! I can hardly wait to plan another trip- Thank you Bob!

Paradise found

The views and lanai say it all. We saw dolphins, turtles and a blue fish. Everything is as advertised but Bob does need to update his information regarding the wifi. It is there, just a different process to log in and access it.
