We had a fantastic time staying in the Chester House. It was a short drive to Okemo Mountain, which was our main reason for booking, but the town of Chester, like the room we stayed in, was incredibly charming!
I was enchanted to be staying in a beautiful antique decorated place. And the jacuzzi tub was large, comfortable, and easily accessed by a step.

Vt in the flood
Good Vt ambiance and decor. But community kitchen doesn’t work well by sharing with permanent residents. No ice and laundry constantly in use. Rain floods caused leaks in ceilings.
The “honeymoon room” was such a cute space with a studio apartment feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. When we left the room to walk across the street to have dinner, I forgot my cell phone which had the entry code, by mistake so, we got locked out in the cold. My husband called the main number on the Inn’s website and thankfully someone answered right away and was able to help us get back in immediately. Total life saver!
