The cabin was in a great location at an extremely good price, not far out from the Frio. More importantly the landlords were extremely kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this place to others.
Such a quite, beautiful rustic getaway. It was faraway, yet very close. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Becky was very helpful and welcoming. My family loved it and we will be back when the river is flowing.
We had a great stay at this well appointed home. Lots of hill country birds were seen on property to our delight. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. Buy any condiment you might want during your stay as the local markets are very limited!
Cabin was really nice, clean, and with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Kitchen well equipped with pots and pans and great bbq pit!! Plenty of deer to see making it really ice for kids, awesome stay!!
We came for a weekend to relax and float on the Frio River. The cabin was quite larger than I expected. My family of 4 had a blast and will definitely book again.
We wanted a cabin off the “beaten path” and that is exactly what you should expect. It had everything we needed. It was clean, welcoming and expect the deer to come right up to the front porch. We had a great time hiking at Garner State Park and coming back to the cabin to relax, fix dinner and watch a movie before calling it a night.
The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing and that was just what we were looking for. It had an air of peace. It was very clean. The television was a little iffy, the picture was not clear and it took awhile for the channels to come in.
The cabin is surrounded by cedar & mesquite trees at the end of a winding dirt road. You are greeted by an adorable sign reading Cloud Dance. There is a large parking area that makes it easy for unloading & having multiple cars. (There were only 4 of us but we came up at different times so we had 3 cars.)The porch is welcoming with chairs & a table. We spent a lot of time there due to rainy weather throughout our stay. We saw many deer, birds, a gray Fox & Jackrabbits were everywhere! When we entered, the cabin was fresh, clean & most importantly COOL! My daughter immediately noticed the hand written chalk sign welcoming our family. The beds were comfy, the living room was spacious & the WiFi was great, even with the bad weather. The decor was really cute. Only thing I could have asked for would be better cookware. Due to the weather, we stayed in & cooked more than we normally would. Overall we absolutely loved the cabin & our host, Becky, was always easy to reach & responded quickly when I wasn’t able to get the door locked due to user error. Thanks for a great escape!
All was good, in the home.
The only item is that the grill in the bbq pit is corroded beyond use
Need replacing

Rustic cabin needs some TLC
Stayed a couple of nights and upon arrival was greeted by 2 very large dead scorpions. Cabin didn’t appear to have been freshly cleaned. The owner did come out within just a few minutes to help with the scorpion situation. It just seems like a routine pest control would take care of it. There were plenty of towels. That was helpful. The cabin got the job done, just be mindful of s orpions.
