About Tracy & Bev Schakohl
Tracy's parents bought the property in 1957. He was born and raised here. It was a great place to grow up. In 1995, before kids, we tore down the old homestead and built the Hideaway! It is our home away from home and we are blessed to have kept it in the family all these years. Enjoy your stay! Tracy, Bev, Trevor and Melanie Schakohl

Our family of four enjoyed spending Thanksgiving here, and we only had to bring a couple kitchen supplies with us. Everything is well stocked! Cannot beat the gorgeous views from the kitchen and living room. Very comfortable place.
Great ocean views
Nice spot 👍
A relaxation atarion
Beautiful location, beautiful friends, and now back to the grind.
Great Oregon Stay
The property is in a great location. The home was in need of a cleaning and we needed to purchase a few small appliances that we assumed would be there but other than that, great place!
What a. Use!
What a great weekend and place to spend time. The whales greeted us with a lovely show.
The house was nice and well appointed. All furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were things in the cupboard that we normally don’t find (spices, coffee, paper towels, syrup, detergent for W/d).
But this house is all about the view. It’s no less than spectacular.
The only strange thing is that you have to go through someone else’s bedroom to get to the shower. For us it was no problem, but maybe different for another group.
Just As Advertised!
We didn't want to leave! Cozy and comfortable...feels like home. And the view is amazing. I was a little worried about being on the other side of the road but you can't even see or hear the road and traffic. Would definitely stay here again.
The Hideaway at Beverly Beach is 6 Miles North of Newport Oregon and 1 Mile South of Cape Foulweather.
