Found within the esteemed gated community of the White Mountain Summer Homes, on an acre+ lot but minutes from restaurants, shopping, the Hon-Dah Casino, and outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and the Sunrise ski resort is just 30 miles away.
The space
The Ponderosa Hideout is a beautiful single level home with an open floor plan, that has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths – 2 bathrooms are situated within 2 bedrooms, with the 3rd bathroom a short way across the hall from the 3rd bedroom and a carport with Chargepoint EV charger. Enjoy time within the living room and/or family room that is divided by a stunning stone fireplace that is double sided. As one of the most delightful features of the Ponderosa Hideout, guests can enjoy it while they cocktail in the living room or cozy up and watch a movie in the family room. The Arizona room with 3 patio sets allow for maximum relaxation as you enjoy the cool breeze and beautiful view of the Ponderosa pines that make the Ponderosa Hideout the ultimate relaxation location.

The cabin was in an amazing beautiful gated community. It had great bedrooms, living areas, nice big kitchen.One thing that could be better is the number of utensils and plates. There is a lot of little things that shows the attention to details and hospitality of the host.

We were in town for shows at The Lion's Den and were thrilled to have this home within walking distance. It was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for everyone in our group. We especially enjoyed the large living room area and kitchen island to hang out together. Yvonne is a fantastic host and we are looking forward to staying here again!

Great location

We love staying in white mountain country club. Always so happy to find VRBOs in the gates. Great location and the host was so amazing with communication. Spacious and lots of added features like chargers all over the house, heated blankets and good appliances. The only thing I would say that was not my favorite was the carpets seemed a bit used. I’m a serious germ a phobe so I kept my slippers on a lot. But that’s just me.

Best house yet!

This house is in a great location in a beautiful area and I would say that the photos don’t do the house justice. Everything was as advertised and better! I can’t wait to make another reservation at this one. We have stayed in multiple places and this is the best yet. Can’t say enough about the whole experience from beginning to end. Cozy Christmas Cabin Contentment

This cabin was just perfect for our family of four! We loved how it was rustic, yet contemporary and it had so so many, well-thought out details (like phone chargers by the beds)! The Christmas decorations made it feel very festive and cozy and it was so nice to have two bath tubs where we could bathe our littles at the same time! Yvonne was great with communication and everything was very comfortable. We have stayed in a few cabins and this is by far our favorite. We hope to come back soon! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very Nice Cabin in a very nice neighborhood

Everything was clean and in good working order, except for the hot water heater, I had to restart it every day. I noticed it had a timer on the gas water heater. The hours of operation were set to 6am to 10pm, which was fine, but I'm guessing that it cant restart itself, once the timer shuts it off at night. That needs to be fixed.
