NO hot water -----Kissing bugs in the bed-place was filthy-black ants all over the kitchen-owner made attempt to fix the hot water issue-dump trucks started at 5 in the morning on busy hwy 58---would not recommend this property.

Property was located in a great spot, except it is right on the main road and there was a lot of construction traffic for the trail rebuild (I assume)- only made us nervous because we had two small dogs and a 3 year old, but ended up being very manageable. The fenced in backyard was perfect and we enjoyed sitting outside. We took advantage of the bike rental shop across the street and rode the creeper trail. The staff there were also super nice, just like everyone we encountered in the town. We also visited Abingdon, which was just a short drive away. Great town too. The house was the perfect size for us and we would very much like to visit again. Everything worked in the house except the toilet is a little finicky- not a big deal to figure out, and wouldn't stop is from renting this house in the future.

This is a comfortable cozy house in a great location. Easy access to incredible hiking and right on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Walkable to everything in Damascus. Our dogs loved it and a big comfortable couch to relax on while watching the big screen TV after a day on the trails. Super comfy bed!

Cozy Clean Cottage

We had such a great stay. The house is so clean, stocked, and cozy. Our dog was also with us and she liked the backyard. We spent a long weekend and when we come back, we will stay here again! The A/C was awesome and so was the shower. The location is perfect.

This house has been recently remodeled. It has all new furniture and appliances. The beds and couch are very cozy. The house is laid out well and the backyard is a great spot for entertaining with a fenced in back yard for the dogs. A Weber grill on the back deck is great for those summer nights
