Located in Yalku Ha, one of the most exclusive residential areas in Akumal with free and exclusive access to Yal Ku Lagoon. An excellent choice for families and groups of friends looking for quick and easy access to the most important sites minus the crowds and tourists at an affordable price.

Villa de Paz is a quiet oasis that sleeps up to 12 guests offering elegant accommodations. Its contemporary design showcases natural materials including limestone, marble, granite, and rich woods combined with modern amenities to ensure comfort during your stay. Its expansive floor to ceiling sliding glass doors fill the entire home with gorgeous natural light.

Luscious Tropical Residence

Villa de Paz receives guests with a sunlit hallway that leads to the bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, full size glass doors window with private view of green gardens. Two principal bedrooms have king sized beds and Bali style showers while the other two bedrooms have 2 queen size beds.

Perfect For Entertaining With Multiple Living Areas.

A fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and 3 seater bar facing the swimming pool are and indoor dining area for 8. The downstairs living room has a custom made oversized couch and large Smart TV. Upstairs, guests will enjoy another palapa thatched living area overlooking the pool area and gardens. Complete with a bar, dining table and a built in couch this rec room is perfect for entertaining surrounded by nature.

The living room area sliding glass doors open completely to create a spacious indoor/outdoor deck area that leads to the swimming pool. The pool area is surrounded by luscious green tropical plants to provide privacy. The large swimming pool is one of the most gorgeous amenities this property offers complete with a non-heated whirpool tub. The outdoor area features multiple tanning beds, lounge chairs, built-in gas grill, a bar, and a private gym. Plus, Yalku Ha also has a private tennis court for residents and guests staying in the community.

Beautiful home

We loved our stay. Roger and Fabiola (and Scott) were lovely to work with. The house is fabulous - the pool is lovely and the ability to walk to the lagoon to snorkel everyday was our favorite! There are restaurants about 10 min up the road but everything else is a bit of drive. We really enjoyed La buena vida in Akumal - good food great beach view! We had a wonderful time!

The awesome 50th Birthday trip!

Beatiful home, perfect for a family gateway

What a beatiful home. Went down to Akumal to celebrate my wifes 40th birthday. We had a total of 11 people in our party, and we all were super comfortable and had such a great time on our stay here. Great service and super safe. Thank you.

It was quiet and clean and modern, there was no dishwasher which for large groups could be inconvenient. The pictures were accurate. Scott was wonderful and great at communicating. It was a very enjoyable stay. A short walk to the lagoon, gave free access to wonderful and safe snorkeling.

Fantastic Villa

Our stay at Villa de Paz exceeded our expectations. The Villa is nicer than the photos. Access to the lagoon was also wonderful and refreshing. There are beautifully maintained paths around the lagoon that are wonderful to wander. The gated community was meticulously maintained and lush. The management company at Akumal Direct takes care of you from the moment you book to check out. They helped us arrange a chef from Daveed Cooking Services to come to the villa so we could have cooking lessons which was amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa de Paz to anyone. You will want a rental car, it is a great location and not far from anything but driving is a must to get groceries and overall explore the Mayan Riviera. We will be back.

Roger and Fabiola did an excellent job all around - from cooking to cleaning to accommodating our small grocery requests. Highly recommend this Villa!

If anything our pool privacy was not perfect because of the home being built next to the home and people working daily right above the pool area. But we understand people need to work and more beautiful homes are being built for people to enjoy their vacations. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay in Villa De Laz was the tropical getaway we needed. The house has every amenity you need to feel right at home or better. The layout is perfect to go through the days progressions. One by one we’d wake and make our way to the kitchen for coffee and stepping over to the pool or living room area. This gave couples a chance to enjoy have their privacy. Then we’d rally and go to Akumal Bay, XpuHa or Xcacel for a beach day and return to have dinner made at home. We also took a whole day visit Valladolid and the caretakers had left food ready for us to warm up as we requested for when we got back. The roof top deck is AMAZING and a great place to hangout the afternoon for gorgeous views of the sunsetting over the jungle. The property has plenty of different living spaces to provide each one some quiet alone time so we never felt like we were spending too much time together. Of course, there was the issue of having to return home but we’re already looking forward to our next trip.

Four couples, including two with young kids, were comfortably accommodated by four large bedrooms, each with a large private bathroom. Common areas are very spacious, both inside and upstairs. Kitchen had everything we needed. Gas grill outside was the fanciest I have ever seen. Well-equipped, and air-conditioned fitness room was an added value for some. Private outdoors with a nice swimming pool was the hit with everybody. We spent a significant fraction of our time in the pool. The villa has a nice contemporary design, is well equipped and maintained. The area felt safe, with a guarded gate at the entrance. The villa is surrounded by a jungle, though a new villa is being developed on one side behind the fence. The place feels secluded and quiet. We took advantage of the maintenance staff cooking for us twice, and both times we were very satisfied with the food quality. We could communicate in English with them. It was an ideal place for a family escape. While for a sandy beach access, you will need to take a short drive to Akumal, a great swimming/snorkeling area is a short work along a well-maintained foot path to Yal Ku (underground river discharging to a lagoon). Free access to this lagoon is a nice perk of this rental. I have rented from Akumal Direct many times before. They are very reliable, no nonsense and easy to communicate with. I strongly recommend them for all your Akumal rentals.

The house was truly incredible, it was kept clean the entire time by the housekeeper and the pool was spotless every morning. The host was very responsive and accommodated us on every request. I cannot recommend this place enough and would love to stay here again in the future. It is in a great location that is secluded but there is a lagoon for snorkeling and swimming a short walk away as well as a GoMart up the street for any snacks and alcohol you might need. The group that runs the neighborhood provided us with transportation (we had to pay but the rate was cheaper than any others we got quoted) and were quick to respond to any requests we had that involved transport. Truly an amazing week here!
