About this property

Get away from it all to this newly renovated 4 Bedroom, 3.5 bath mountain-top cabin. Spread out in 2 living spaces where you will create everlasting memories with your loved ones. Whether you are in Angel Fire for all the outdoor activities it offers or simply to relax, Positive Altitude is the perfect place to enjoy the mountains.

You will enter the home from the bottom floor into a spacious living area. The 'vintage' pool table, large TV, puzzle table and a comfortable couch make it a perfect area for everyone. It's also a favorite area for kids and teens to hang out in their own space. Across the hall is a downstairs bunk room (twin/double bunk & twin) with an en-suite, newly renovated full bathroom. You will also find a combo room with a washer & dryer and a half bathroom on this level.

Walk upstairs to the main level to find a second rustic yet modernized open living space with a cozy wood burning stove. This living space boasts 2 leather couches from where you can enjoy the sunset while sipping your favorite wine and listening to your preferred music. The gourmet kitchen has it all including high-end stainless steel appliances (gas stove) and granite countertops. It is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans and small appliances so you can feel right at home preparing your favorite family meals. Beyond the open living area is the primary bedroom with a king bed and a third bedroom with two double beds. This floor has another full bathroom as well.

Walk up to the 3rd floor where a generous 4th bedroom (queen) and a 3rd full bathroom await you. This floor is perfect for someone in your group wanting a little more privacy!

Loved Positive Altitude

This property is exactly as described and it is so well stocked. Christen goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. We traveled with our cousins so there were 8 people staying here; we had plenty of room. Thank you again Christen for renting us your amazing house! We loved everything about this rental. We will be back!

Family vacation

This property was amazing with the most beautiful view of the mountains! It was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated and well stocked. Christen was so responsive and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. She went above and beyond our expectations and was so sweet! I highly recommend this property and Christen & Bob- they are the best and so was this property! Best vacation ever! Thank you!

“Positive Altitude” is the PERFECT Mountain Cabin!

My family of 5 just returned home after an ideal week at Angel Fire! The cabin is absolutely fantastic! I cannot wait to get back there! It was VERY clean and nicely updated inside! We extra appreciated the super fluffy towels and obviously new/clean linens etc. With all of our hikes, rafting adventures etc… having the ability to easily do a few loads of laundry was a nice perk! The kitchen is stocked with nice dishes, newly updated, high-end appliances and a surprising arsenal of cook wear! Having the great kitchen (and clean, gas-grill) made it fun and easy to prepare most of our meals at home. Lowes market in town is nicely stocked - had solid meat and fresh produce and people were nice. We were there almost every day and were impressed! The 5 of us enjoyed being able to spread out a little, but with room to sleep 10, we would have been just as comfortable with another family there with us. The kids and I enjoyed hours of fun games of pool and appreciated being able to log into our favorite streaming services both upstairs and down (w/ Pool table). While we loved the hiking and everything Angel Fire and surrounding area had to offer, our daily highlight was SUNSET! We also took day-trips to raft the Rio Grande just past town of Taos, explored old Mining/ski town of Red River and twice drove (about 90 mins) to Taos Ski Valley. Take advantage of the nice kitchen, grill, and enjoy those SUNSETS!

Spring break fun!

Beautiful, scenic, and very clean cabin that had lots of fun things for families! Games, pool table, tvs in every room. Kitchen was the perfect size for our 2 families! We all enjoyed the wildlife and views around. Host was very responsive and helpful with ideas of local fun and eating. We will for sure be back to rent from this cabin owner! I highly recommend!

Family Ski Trip Getaway

We were in the mountains surrounded by trees with a beautiful view. Snowing almost every day. Sledding available right outside cabin, and the children had a great time. Several deer came by almost everyday. The cabin was large and met our expectations for accommodations in every way. It was cozy and warm There were many inside games and reading books available, and the pool table was especially fun for everyone!
