It was a very nicely decorated small beach home that even in the cold of oncoming winter had wonderful views of sunsets, sunrises and Lake Onterio. Also loved the winery walking distance down the road (Victorianbourg Wine Estate)!
It was very clean and set up nicely it had all the amenities you needed and was very beautifully positioned on the Lake ( Ontario) was very close to restaurant's and coffee shops and even a home town bakery. We will definitely be back
Listing was exactly as promised, great location right on the water. Clean and comfortable with great views. Many winery , brewery, restaurant and grocery options within a short drive. Would stay again in the future.
It is a sweet vintage cottage with a surprising amount of space. Three nice bedrooms and a large living room. The lake was beautiful. There is really no access to swimming but there is a small beach about 6 min. drive away. This place is in the middle of nowhere but so close to everything. We did a lot of sightseeing and had a great time. Would stay here again!!!
We stayed at this home last year and saw it was available for our trip this year so we booked it again. Great location on the lake. Cute place and perfect for our family group of 6. Messages to the host was relied to immediately. Easy check in and check out process. Thank you for another great stay.
Property was just as pictured on the site. Lots of amenities, which included great quilts, dishes, pots & pans. TV and furniture in living room very nice. Awesome host.
This was a very nice place to stay with our family on a short fishing trip. The owners were responsive when I communicated with them. The house was very clean and met our needs. The beds were cozy and the fact that linens were provided was a bonus. The view outside the house was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Beautiful lake view, Very clean, had all the necessities bedding, kitchenware, etc. Relaxed by the firepit in the front yard. Great for a much needed girls weekend to relax. Went kyaking and a nice walk at Olcott Beach. Inside fireplace was nice in the evening to take off the fall chill air.
This property is all about the lake view. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and night sky’s full of stars. We were close to Niagara Falls (visited twice), local restaurants and grocery stores. The property was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The sunroom with sofa facing the lake was an added bonus. We are a retired couple traveling with our border collie. The home is located in a quiet area. We enjoyed our time at this property.
Our family enjoyed the lake house. Plenty of towels and well decorated. It was a very hot week, so the AC had a little trouble keeping up. Bring fans for the bedrooms and sunroom if your week will be very hot as there is only a living room unit. The beds are firm mattresses but nice and clean. There are some local guides on the bookcase as well if you are looking for things to do. The property cannot be beat, and the location is very quiet. The lake access is very steep and there are large rocks to traverse (typical for Lake Ontario), but we were able to get in and enjoy the water. Vern's Pub and Grille was an excellent place to get some dinner, and we enjoyed Olcott very much as well. Overall, one of the best vacation weeks we have had and would recommend this stay.

Thanks for staying with us and if you asked we could provide another AC unit. Also we will put new AC this coming September. Thanks for bringing up the concern.
This very clean & comfortable lakefront cottage has perfect views of the lake. The cottage is well-appointed & we really appreciated the 'like-new' look & feel of the appliances and furnishings. The cottage occupies a good-sized lot which gives a good amount of space from the neighboring cottages, and provides the front (ie: lakeside) yard with a nice, private feel. Check-in/out was very easy. Fatmir promptly & thoroughly responded to our questions and is an all-around excellent host!
We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and will definitely return!
As other reviews have stated, this place is all about the view. We stayed Friday thru Monday in early June. Dogs loved the lake. We sat outside, around the fire, at nights cooking s’mores and just admiring the beautiful night sky. It’s about 30 minutes to the falls. There are 2-3 restaurants in the immediate area which were good for the family. There is a small, stand-alone a/c unit that surprisingly really cools the place down. If I were to nitpick, I wish the path to the lake was easier to navigate. Well, heck, if I’m making wishes I wish there was a dock as well:) But the description of the place was exactly as described. The owner was more responsive than needed but it’s good because if we needed anything, we knew we could count on him to get back to us in an appropriate amount of time. We would stay there again, as well as refer friends to this place. Who is this place for? Families with children and/or dogs that are ok with humble/modest living dwellings.
The location is ideal. Beautiful Lake Ontario views, privacy, and close to the towns of Wilson, Olcott, Lewiston and Niagara Falls. We spent as much time as we could outdoors when the weather permitted. (We arrived just as a cold/rain front moved into the area.) The efficient electric fireplace heater displaced the musty chill. The wonky weather didn't dampen our Western New York stay, though. There are plenty of activities and places to enjoy in Niagara and nearby Erie County, not to mention Ontario, Canada, which is a short drive away. So we mostly just slept here and left for the day. The cottage reminded me of the basic cabins my family rented back in the 1960s. For us two seasoned, senior travelers it was a throwback, albeit with shiny new appliances. We dined out and didn't use the kitchen other than to make morning coffee. The cottage was clean, the beds comfortable. It would benefit from lamps next to the all the beds and in the living area for lighting options other than the glare of bright overhead lights. The two lamps in the cabin, one in the lakefront porch room and one in a bedroom that has no ceiling light, were insufficient for our needs. This cottage is probably fun for a family with children who would be delighted with the lake access and enormous TV and for whom interior banality is not an issue. Our favorite features were the lake-facing Adirondack chairs and picnic table, where we could enjoy the fresh air and view.
