The house is exactly as advertised! The location is perfectly located to some great local coffee shops, close to all the great shopping and restaurants on King St, and a short walk to Braddock Station. Janine was a great host and responded quickly to any question we had. Thanks for the great stay!

Great for a family stay

We loved the location and the space. My husband and I stayed there with our four adult children. This property is only a mile from King Street, so you can walk or take a quick Uber to great restaurants and shopping. There’s a Trader Joe’s in walking distance, along with a good selection of neighborhood restaurants within a couple of blocks. The townhouse was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable. The kitchen was set up with everything you need. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor patio due to a few intermittent showers and high temps/humidity, but that is also a nice feature. If we head back to the area, I would definitely stay again.

I love traveling and have been to every continent except Antarctica. I had the opportunity to travel extensively during my time in the military and lived in various parts of the world.

Why they chose this property

The Navy brought me in the DMV area, and during my time here, I fell in love with Old Town. I used to live here, but I wanted more people to experience its charm, so I turned my place into a short-term rental. I enjoy hosting travelers from the US and beyond and hope they, too, fall in love with this beautiful area, just as I did.

What makes this property unique

The townhouse's location is fantastic, especially if you won't have a car. It's just four blocks away from the Braddock metro station, and there are several bus stops nearby. You can also rent bikes or scooters, or simply walk (my favorite option) to the waterfront, which is 8 blocks away, or King Street, which is 6 blocks away.
