** The state of Hawaii assesses an occupancy tax payable to the resort at checkout ranging between $10 and $30 per night based on the occupied villa type.

** Cashless Resort:
There is no cash available at this resort and credit cards are the only acceptable form of payment.

Update:
Please note that the resort no longer supply shower chairs, rubber bathmats, toilet seat risers, or wheelchairs.

** To check-in: When arriving at the resort, enter through the porte-cochere, take the escalator down and follow the directional signs along the pathway to Marriott’s Kauai Beach Club, passing the entrance to the main hotel lobby (on your left) and taking a right at Lamonts toward the end of the pathway. The Marriott Vacation Club Owner and Guest Services area will be located on your left, adjacent to the Owner Relations office.

** Please note that the Royal Sonesta will be resurfacing the Main Pool deck flagstone in phases throughout 2026. During this refurbishment, the pool and hot tubs are expected to remain open; however, pool deck seating will be reduced. Thank you for your understanding as they make this important update.

** Select villa lanais are undergoing railing and spalling repairs through Aug. 2026. Access and views may be limited, with possible scaffolding or cables present. All other resort amenities remain fully available.


** While we look forward to welcoming you, please be aware that the Hawaii Electric Company has notified us of periodic power outages that may impact our resort from time to time. These outages are part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) strategy that is being implemented across the island to proactively shut off power to help prevent wildfires when certain conditions exist. The Hawaii Electric Company expects these precautions to remain in place on the Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii Islands for the foreseeable future. As noted, these outages could occur at any time and may last for up to one to three days.
