Our family spent 4 days at property-ages 8 to 68. Spent time in the hot tub, fishing at the lake, s’mores around the fire pit and enjoying meals together. Beach area was nice, but unfortunate that the lake was having issue with algae, so curtailed any swimming. We did enjoy the water park in Waterville.
A nice spot for a quick getaway.
Overall good stay! The flow of the dining room to the screen porch to the deck to the lawn to the lake was lovely, and worked better than pictures seemed for our group. Kids loved the game room. We appreciated that the dining room and living room had ample seating. The house overall met our needs and the view was gorgeous. It could use attention in a few areas (not enough plates, top step has loose brick, the upstairs deck didn't seem safe to walk on, the upstairs bathroom door doesn't latch), but overall enjoyed the stay. The lake is beautiful and great for boating, we loved the kayaks, paddle board and paddleboat. By August, though, it was full of seaweed and algae and not a swimmers paradise!
Overall nice property. It was very ample for our family. There was quite a bit of algae/seaweed which we spent awhile raking so our kids could swim. Once we did that the swim area was really nice. Fishing off the dock was fun. The water toys (kayaks, SUP’s) were a hit and nice to have. The kitchen had a nice amount of counter space but could have used a few more dishes. The seating at tables and comfy chairs/couches was generous. Great laundry facilities. There were some ground wasps on the path when we arrived that and a tank of water with a fair bit of algae that made the initial entry somewhat unwelcoming, but we spent the majority of our time in the back/lake side.
The house/cabin was perfect for a long weekend with friends. Lots of space for games, food, relaxing. The sauna was an excellent extra. We were there in the winter so we spent most of the time inside. Excellent hosts that were very responsive. No problems.
