Fantastic family lake trip

Had a wonderful time. Lots of room, perfect sized pool in addition to the lake. My family had a fantastic time in the kayaks, fishing, tubing behind ski boat and using jet skis. Lots of places to relax and be together. Would definitely rent again

Lovely home; beautiful view, quiet & secluded area of the lake. Was perfect for our family, plenty of space. Quick communication from management during a couple of issues we encountered, that were resolved quickly. Would stay again for sure!

Perfect House for a Family Getaway

What a great house for a family Thanksgiving celebration! Although too cold to enjoy the lake activities, the view is incredible and the house amenities were perfect for staying in to enjoy family time, eat good food and play games. The kitchen was well stocked and Debbie and her staff were very attentive. They quickly answered our questions and took care of all our needs.

Last summer getaway

My family and I enjoyed are staying immensely! Property manager was quick to respond and extremely helpful . Highly recommend this home. The rooms were ample and comfortable and the kids loved the game room. Great home to entertain!

Long overdue family vacat

Incredible property and management was right on it anytime we had a question. Large home with perfect room for everyone. Loved the kayak and paddle boards. Could not have enjoyed it more

It was a roomy, comfortable home. Not having any curtains in the house took some adjustment. Great view of the lake. Kind of far to restaurants, grocery store, etc.

Wonderful location on the lake. Disappointed that there are not window treatments. Disappointed that the dishwasher did not seem to working effectively. Disappointed that one of the bedrooms was closed off downstairs.

The Lake House

This property is beautiful! I was looking for a beautiful, serene environment to relax and enjoy the company of my family. Not only is the interior designed beautifully, the outside encourages one to enjoy the exterior. There are a couple of covered areas that will offer shelter from rain and sun. If sun is your thing, there is open seating as well. Loved it! Ms. Miller, the VRBO contact was so pleasant and helpful.

Amazing House!

This house was truly amazing! The decor, amenities and view ... OMG beautiful! Only thing I would change is the pictures of the bunk beds on the site bc they are a little different in reality. There being no door to the bulk bed downstairs was a disadvantage for all adult booking but if traveling with kids it would be perfect. That's very minor and doesn't compete with everything great about the house. 9 out of 10 for me and would definitely recommend to others to book! It's worth every $!

Fabulous Birthday Getaway

This property is AMAZING! The listing is just as described. I selected this beautiful lake home for a birthday getaway for my sister. It was 6 of us and the accommodations more than provided enough space for us. The downstairs den/game room was awesome. We brought in a masseuse for a spa day and used the area for our massages. Then at night it became our oasis for watching movies, playing pool and cards. The lake front is gorgeous! I enjoyed the screened in porch, listening to the sounds of nature and the lake. Debbie and her team was extremely responsive and answered all questions timely. We will definitely book again!!

helpful suggestions

All in all our stay was good. Here are some things that might help the next renter: -There were no hangers in closets - a necessity -the kitchen needs more dishtowels and oven mitts -the coffee pot did not work well - maybe needs to be replaced as this is vital for many renters -towel racks in the bathrooms would be helpful - the kayaks were nice but there were no life jackets -it would be helpful to have more instructions in the book (ie: how to work the heating/cooling systems) -one lamp in the primary bedroom did not work; maybe needs a new bulb. -not all bedrooms had a closet - much needed for hanging clothes The house is really very nice and the view is wonderful.

Beautiful spacious home

Our advisory board of 12 women used this house for a retreat. We were all coming from different directions, and the common comment was that it is a bit more remote, but because we brought in meals, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. The views are fabulous. The house was clean and the rooms were nice. We did feel like they could have provided more resources, such as a larger supply of towels, especially since the bathroom one group used had no towel racks, and hairdryers, which were advertised as being in the house were nowhere to be . We did like the size of the house, the location and the ample area for parking. The house is advertised as having two bunk rooms, only one was available when we got there, but we still had sufficient sleeping areas. A few little extra touches like leaving filters for the coffee pot more soap for the dishwasher and extra towels would take the house from good to great.

Family gathering

The house was beautiful as was the view of the lake. Our grandsons really enjoyed kayaking and fishing. It was great having a wood burning fireplace out on the porch. We built a fire every night, made s'mores, and watched television. I was disappointed that we weren't able to use the gas fireplace in the great room. That would have been nice, but there were no instructions on how to use it. There were no blankets that I could find and they would have been nice to have on those cool nights. There were also no window treatments on any of the windows in the whole house. The master bedroom adjoined the screened in porch where we spent a lot of our time so people sitting out on the porch could look right into the bedroom😬 That was a little awkward. The house is on a septic system and we had two toilets get stopped up as a result of having 10 people there for 3 nights. I didn't realize when I booked this property that it was so far away from grocery stores and restaurants. It was at least a 30 minute drive to these places. Next time I'll try to find a place that's a little closer to Greensboro and the Reynolds's Plantation. The house was very spacious and accommodated our family well.
