An Excellent Property near the Beach

The apartment was well equipped and the AC worked well, The rooftop pools and the well equipped gym with a view of the ocean was outstanding. A short walk to Mamitas Beach and to Avenue 5.

Great stay

The place was small but perfect. I would say two people would be the most that could be comfortable. But clean, nice towels, the kitchen had all the things you could want. The rooftop pool was really great and I hung out there all day.

Beautiful quiet spot

This was a lovely quiet place to be for three weeks. The view is great, the suite is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Staff were friendly and pleasant! Laundry facility on site is a bonus. One thing that seems odd, for the money you pay, why do you not get a change of towels and bedding?

Beautiful and modern apartment, super well equipped. The rooftop pool and the views to the sea an Cozumel are amazing, best rooftop that I have been to in many in playa del carmen. The apartment is super confortable, everything was neat and clean and the local manager was super helpful and responsive. Very good costumer service.

Great location and amenities !

We were extremely happy with our stay. The apartment was clean and modern, nice balcony with a great partial ocean view. Location was 10/10, 2 blocks away from the beach/beach clubs, and walking distance to many restaurants and 5ta avenida. Best part was the rooftop ! Amazing view, great pools (heated), bar opens 12-8pm and Israel makes great drinks! Gym is modern and has good equipment. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Recommended !

Loved the condo, felt like home. Big comfortable bed, all the necessary utensils to cook. The wifi was ok! But the internet not good enough for a work stay. The rooftop is great. You can purchase food and order drinks. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing is the 10 am checkout. Should be 11 or 12 like everyone else. Then everything would be perfect.

We wanted to be close to the beach and this was great being 1 block away. The only downside was the front door didn’t do much to block noise from the hallway so we could hear a fair bit of noise from people using the hallway / elevator outside. Modern & clean. Nice staff, chill apartment complex with nice pool and in a quiet neighborhood but close to good restaurants etc. would definitely recommend and return!

Great place, great price, great pool

We stayed in this room for 8 days during our trip to Mexico, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials, and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and paper towels, which we really appreciated.One of our favorite parts of the stay was the private patio—it was absolutely perfect for relaxing. The pool area was beautiful and definitely a highlight of the property. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.The only major downside was the shower. It constantly fluctuated between scalding hot and freezing cold every 10 seconds, which made showering very frustrating. Unfortunately, despite mentioning it, the issue was never resolved during our entire stay.If they can fix the shower situation, this place would be an easy 5-star stay. As it is, I’d still recommend it, but be aware of the issue with the water temperature.

Beautiful apartment

Lovely apartment with great amenities just a short walk away from the beach, a great restaurant area on 38 and the main pedestrian walkway on Quinta Avenida. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the beach, pool, hot tub, bar and laundry. Only complaint was they do not have their own internet, and the one available to the whole building often didn’t work. So ability to watch TV was non existent and working from the apartment was a consistent challenge. The management company was communicative but couldn’t correct the issue. This is a great apartment for a beach vacation to enjoy Playa Del Carmen.

Frustrating stay

Great location, amazing rooftop but the unit had multiple issues. The toilet seat was broken off the actual toilet. I notified Vacasa immediately and no one came to fix it. The safe was broken, there was no hot water, and some of the outlets aren’t functional to actually plug in electronics. The cherry on top was that Vacasa does not have any extra keys to the unit. I accidentally left the key in the unit, and was responsible for paying a locksmith to come and let us in since Vacasa did not have any back up keys, which I find to be ridiculous.

Nice cozy apartment for 2

The unit in the photos looked larger than it really is but not the 1st time we've experienced this. It is large enough for a couple and as we spent 90% of our time outdoors the size doesn't really matter. The shower is large, but water temperatures incredibly inconsistent so you have to adjust the handle constantly, but again cool water when its hot outside isn't a big deal. The bed is comfortable and king sized so lots of room. Kitchen isn't big but is supplied with most everything you need but coffee maker is very small (2 cups at a time) and don't plan to cook too many meals as it only has a small stove top. View is spectacular and location is perfect with beach about a 2 minute walk and good restaurants/stores about 5 minutes. There was an awful smell that kept your balcony time to a minimum that I initially thought was decomposing mangrove in the area but as there was some building construction in the neighborhood and saw the contractors pumping water from under the foundation almost daily I believe it may have originated from there. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Nice place but has its pros and cons

Building is not secure, anyone can just walk in to the lobby and pool area. Pool area is amazing. Offers some breakfast and lunch items along with drinks for a low cost. Pool area also has massages for good price. Highly recommend, my 80 min deep tissue for 1500 pesos was amazing! AC in our unit did not work great which made it hard to sleep at night in the heat. However the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was spotty at best. TV in the bedroom would not stream anything due to bad internet. The biggest issue we had was the apartment comes with one key to use but it is not required to lock using the key when you leave, so it is extremely easy to lock yourself out. This did happen to us and the property manager took hours to respond. Finally after being locked out most of the day, the only solution they had was to call a locksmith bride they had no other keys to get into the apartment. I had to pay $65 dollars to get into the place 5 hours later.

building is still under construction

The apartment is beautiful but as the first guest, there were a few hiccups. The main TV didn't work but after some effort, the smaller TV was moved to the living room and a rent adjustment was given. The building is still under construction so there are workmen walking around all day and only some of the elevators are working - something wrong with the sewer system as sewer gas wafts through the building every few days. The pool area is fabulous as is the view. For such a nice apartment, it was surprising how poorly the kitchen was equipped (no oven - just microwave and two burners, no salt/pepper shakers, no kettle, no paper towels, etc.). They brought in an air fryer after 10 days. Stayed over 3 weeks and had to repeatedly request fresh sheets and towels after the first week (called a troublesome guest by the property manager for asking). Just lived with it after that. A great place but still working out the kinks.

Great until it wasn't...

My husband and I stayed at this property 1st week of Feb, 2023. I booked 9 days. It is a beautiful place, new, and the rooftop pool is fabulous with amazing views and never crowded. However, our stay only lasted 3 days until the power went out in our unit. No elevator as well. We stayed one night in the apt. with no lights or ac. So, we lugged our bags down 3 flights of stairs to move up the street 2 blocks to another, older property because the electricity situation was not going to be fixed. The manager was quick to respond and did give options of other places they had. I was very disappointed as this was the place I had originally booked and then we had to move to a street view, first floor, construction zone with a substandard, no shade, pool area. I usually don't get fussy about things, but I felt maybe there was another unit in Singular Dreams we could have been placed. The room right next to ours had power and ours did not. I don't think it was the first time electricity was out in that room. The refrigerator freezer had frost as if it had melted and was refrozen many times.
