About this property
2BR 2BA Historic Prospect Home with Hot Tub & Boat Rental Option
If location, comfort, and attention to detail are what you’re looking for in your next getaway, then The Apricottage is your perfect choice.
This cottage is set next to the Ouachita National Forest and backs up to the bottom of West Mountain. It's also located right in the heart of downtown Hot Springs just a few short blocks from the visitor center on Bath House Row. The Home is 1660 square feet, has a very unique layout, and is set back from the sidewalk under a beautiful canopy of Oak trees. The home, located in the Quapaw-Prospect Historic neighborhood, is always bustling. We suggest kicking back on the front porch and watching all the joggers, hikers, mingling neighbors and cyclists cruise by. You will also hear the church bells ring from time to time. The back deck & yard has a cozy feel. We have hot tub on the deck under a canopy with seating around it, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a fountain, table for 6 with umbrella and a grill. It’s ready for entertaining. The interior and exterior of the home was beautifully renovated in 2022 w/ modern fixtures, artistic, well made furniture & loaded w/ all the amenities needed for a quiet stay or a fun get together. Whether you have a day on the lake, relax at the spa, or a night on the town, The Apricottage is the perfect place to come back home to each night.
The proximity to Bath House Row is a short 6 blocks away and the entrance to West Mountain is one block up. The cottage also makes for a great rallying point when meeting up with other guests in town. We have parking for up to 4 cars and have street parking as well. This house can sleep 6 comfortably with 2 king beds and a blow up mattress with ample bedding and pillows ready for use. This 2 bedroom, 2 full bath home, while quaint still provides ample privacy due to the layout. You don’t have to worry about heavy traffic from the race track here in the downtown area, but still the track is only five minutes away. The Cottage was built in 1922 & has a prime location to the best restaurants, shopping, & bars in Downtown Hot Springs. The Apricottage is decorated with local art & the eclectic decor is not just for looks, but functionality & comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped for the best cooks & stocked and ready to serve dozens of guests. We encourage gatherings for dinner parties, special events or holidays. There is a covered sitting porch for rainy days and a large back deck for entertaining. There are four Adirondack chairs around the fire pit off the deck w/ plenty of firewood to burn on cool nights. We provide a gas grill, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, 3 TV's (in each bedroom) & a gas fireplace. On-site parking is available under a small canopy of trees surrounded by beautiful newly planted landscaping. If hiking is your thing, drive up West Mountain for an easy hike along the Ridge on Sunset Trail. We’re located 10 mins from Lake Hamilton, 5 mins to Oaklawn Race Track & Casino and just steps to Downtown. We also have a Party Barge ready to rent on Lake Hamilton if you are wanting to be on the water. Your stay will always start with snacks & an assortment of drinks in the fridge to snack on while you get settled in. We look forward to having you stay at The Apricottage!
