Paradise awaits you in this lovely 5 bedroom 3 bath beach cottage known as Gone Coastal. Located on the beach access, in the highly desirable Ocean Ridge Drive area of Atlantic Beach.

Gone Coastal is quick walk to the circle at Atlantic Beach with all the shops and restaurants it has to offer.

Completely remodeled from top to bottom, our home boasts many amenities that will make your vacation memorable including a 26 ft in-ground pool with a fenced in back yard. Inside you`ll find the home is designed to allow the oldest and the youngest in our families to have a good time. With over 2400 square feet of living space there is plenty of room. The second story features the main living area with an open floor plan and fully stocked kitchen. There is a dining table for 8 people and a island bar that seats 3. The living area is equipped with a 42” smart TV with cable and a large sofa to accommodate your family. Down the hall you will find two Queen bedrooms adjoined with a bathroom and the Master Bedroom with a King bed with smart TV and private bath/shower.
The downstairs also has a living area with a 42` flat screen smart TV and small kitchen area for coffee and drinks. Two additional bedrooms can be found downstairs, one King bedroom and a Twin bedroom with a twin bed and twin trundle bed. There is handicap bathroom with a shower/seat, and a walk-in tub with plenty of room for walkers.

Gone Coastal is located on the highly sought after Ocean Ridge Drive in Atlantic Beach. The home is minutes for the town circle with many shops and restaurants

The pool can be heated for you during your stay for an additional $50 per day. Requires 3 days notice.

This was our first time renting a house after renting condos for over 40 years in Atlantic Beach. This was like an upgrade to first class after flying coach! The home is beautiful, just like the pictures and more! We have already booked again for next year.

Great Beach House!

The house was very clean and in a great location. It was stocked with everything you need for both inside and outside/beach. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again next summer!

Great beach house and location

We had a family vacation at the beach house. The house was great for us. We loved the very short walk to the beach and the closeness to shopping and restaurants. The house had lots of amenities to take the beach.

Beautiful, comfortable, well equipped beach home!

Terrific stay at Gone Coastal! The most complete kitchen supplies (including spices, coffee and all the pots/pans) needed to be a gourmet cook on your vacation. Pretty and fun pool; super beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, etc. Really comfortable furniture and beds. The best rental in years. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This home was lovely and met our needs very well!! Clean and well furnished which was perfect for our family. Enjoyed the pool with our littles ages 2 and 3. Easy beach access and nice to have so many beach chairs available to use! Timely response to a matter that needed to be addressed and corrected. Awesome home and we had a nice stay! Would love to return and we would recommend to others as well.

Fantastic Location and Amenities

We stayed at this home for a family vacation (young child and 4 adults). This house is in a great location, convenient and walkable to restaurants, shopping and, of course, the beach. Upon arrival, the luggage lift next to the driveway welcomes you to the house and melts away your stress as it lifts your luggage to the top floor. The home is cheerful, clean, and very comfortable. Beach is a quick, easy walk directly across the street. The pool was a wonderful addition for family fun, with a great design for swimmers of all skill levels. In addition, the property manager was very responsive, quick to resolve anything that arose, and easy and pleasant to work with. Our family will definitely book this location again.

Rest and Relaxation

Loved the location! Morning walks on the beach, breakfast at Four Corners, afternoons by the pool, and evenings on the beach. House could have been cleaner there was food stuck on the refrigerator handle and the dishes were dirty with stuck on food. Would rent here again? Absolutely!

Lovely home recently renovated

We loved our stay at Gone Coastal. The beds were very comfy, lots of good kitchen equipment, copious towels, extra beach chairs and umbrella. The decor was beachy and minimalist which we liked. The outdoor shower was a bonus and having soap and shampoo provided was helpful. The pool area was nicely thought out and the pool was fun. Out front a really lovely walk through some shady bushes and soft grass made the trip to the beach very pleasant. We will return!

Amazing Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family. Parents and one family upstairs and the other family on lower level. Plenty of living space, two family rooms, TV's in many rooms!! Beds were comfortable. The front porch was just the favorite vacation landing spot at the end of the day. The pool area is the perfect size, just what you need. The street and neighborhood are wonderful. Everyone walks the street, kids riding bikes, like being right at home. Even a 4th of July PARADE on the street!!! Just fabulous location to everything!! Will keep this one on the list for the future visits to NC.

Great Place

Great stay. Just as advertised. Requested the pool to be heated and it was everyday. Also added an 11th person at the last minute for a small additional fee. 30 second walk to the beach on a secluded path. Beach was clean not many people. Water wasn't rough at all. Kids had a blast. Door dash works here and internet was fast. Tablets, phones and tv all at the same time. Great experience. Would book again.

Crystal Coast Retreat

I have been coming to the Crystal Coast with my family for 7 years now; we have stayed in Emerald Isle the past 4 years and love it there. This was my first time in AB and this neighborhood was really nice, quiet. Loved having the private pool (definitely what sold us on this place), and despite not being direct oceanfront for the first time, it was an easy walk across the street to the beach access. Just wish the ocean views were better from the house, but the two houses just across the street were very large, thus obstructing most of the ocean. The home was beautiful inside, and we loved all the beach chairs. Neither of the umbrellas worked, so glad we brought an easy-up tent for some shade on the beach. Shelling was great on the beach without having to travel anywhere; always many “treasures” washed up, especially after storms came through one night. We appreciated all the beach towels as well!

The house was beautiful and we plan to stay again. We stayed the end of Oct, but had decent weather. Sitting out on the deck was wonderful. Even on the cooler mornings, you could sit out there with your tea or coffee and the bright sunshine kept us warm. its an easy walk to a beautiful beach and we enjoyed watch ing both sunrise and sunset.

Great House!

This house was stocked with anything you could possibly need. It includes all dishes, plates, glasses, silverware, grilling utensils, sheets, bath towels, pool towels, etc. The house was very clean and the pool area had lots of games and floats. We had no issues during our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Atlantic Beach!

Overall the stay was great. Couple of issues in the kitchen.

Several of the drawers in the kitchen were dirty with crumbs. There was no trash bags. Pots and pans were scorched, dirty and not in great shape. Had one episode with a few ants in the kitchen. After putting out ant bait we didn’t have any more problems. They were mostly on the counter by the sink. The swimming pool in the back was the main reason we rented this particular cottage.

The house was exactly as described. The pool was terrific. The house is well stocked even beach towels and pool toys. It’s very convenient to the beach , a short walk across the street.. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant. The beach is lovely. We had a lovely vacation! The owner is very easy to communicate with and answers questions promptly. Great house for families!

Great location - close to beach!

Two couples with two infants (about 1 year old each) and had a great stay at Captains Quarters! The beach access was conveniently across the street and the pool in the backyard was great with the little ones. The house had everything we needed and space for everyone - we loved the upstairs deck, the pool, and being able to do laundry. We really appreciated the cargo lift to get our luggage and groceries up to the second floor. The house was also very clean and the check in and check out instructions were clear. Can’t wait to stay again some time soon!
