Thanksgiving with a View

Our family spent Thanksgiving at this property. It was clean, organized, and had breathtaking views. We will most definitely stay there again. Suggestions: 1. fix the kitchen sink drip, 2. add more accessible mirrors, at least one full size mirror, 3. update the coffee maker, and 4. add a TV in the 2nd bedroom. Overall - 5 Stars. It was the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed in!

All about the views!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a nice location close to both Boone and Blowing Rock with a beautiful outdoor area and gorgeous mountain views. The house was very unique and well equipped with more than you would expect. There were a few things I suggested it needed to the owner to enhance the stay for future guests. Owner was great with communication.

House in the Clouds

This house is conveniently located with quick access to Blowing Rock and Boone. The roads are in good condition, and we had no issues finding the house. The house itself is very cozy and unique with incredible views from the living areas and deck. The house was clean, and the host was very communicative and quick to respond when we needed assistance. Beds have newer foam mattresses and were very comfortable for us. Some improvements that we feel are needed would be a new couch, shower upgrades, and a few maintenance related items.

Why they chose this property

Blowing Rock has always been a special place to us. Our family has been coming up here for years and we even got married here!

This home was built in 1983 but looked drastically different before until some remodeling within the past 6 years. We love the unique style and most importantly, can't beat the view!

We appreciate your interest in our home and look forward to hosting you!

What makes this property unique

You cannot beat the view or the character of the guest proclaimed "Round House." Truly feels like you are at the top of the mountain and can guarantee the architecture is unique compared to your normal mountain home experience.
