The Neighborhood:
Portage Park is a residential neighborhood located on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. The area is named after the large Portage Park located in the center of the community. The park offers a variety of amenities including walking paths, baseball fields, playgrounds, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The neighborhood features a mix of architectural styles, including bungalows, greystones, and new construction homes. It has a diverse population and a strong sense of community, with many local events and festivals held throughout the year.

The area is also known for its great dining options, with a range of restaurants offering cuisines from around the world. Additionally, there are several shopping centers and small businesses located within the neighborhood. The area is easily accessible by public transportation, with several bus lines and the CTA Blue Line providing service to the community.

Getting Around:
From O'Hare International Airport:

Take the Blue Line towards Forest Park and get off at Jefferson Park Station.
Transfer to bus #85 towards Central/Harlem and get off at Milwaukee/Pensacola stop.
Walk east on Pensacola Ave for about 2 blocks and the destination will be on your left.

From Midway International Airport:

Take the Orange Line towards Loop and get off at Clark/Lake Station.
Transfer to the Blue Line towards O'Hare and get off at Jefferson Park Station.
Transfer to bus #85 towards Central/Harlem and get off at Milwaukee/Pensacola stop.
Walk east on Pensacola Ave for about 2 blocks and the destination will be on your left.

From Downtown Chicago:

Take bus #56 towards Milwaukee/Racine and get off at Milwaukee/Pensacola stop.
Walk east on Pensacola Ave for about 2 blocks and the destination will be on your left.

Other Things to Note:
We want you to feel right at home during your stay, so we kindly ask you take note of the following:

- Please be mindful of other tenants and keep noise levels down, especially during quiet hours.
- For certain bookings, we may require additional screening, government ID, and a security deposit.
- If you encounter any issues during your stay, please let us know so we can address them right away.
- To ensure your comfort, we install air conditioning units during the summer to keep the space cool and enjoyable. As temperatures drop in the cooler months, we remove the units to maintain energy efficiency.
- Hot Water System: The property uses a boiler system that heats water on demand. Hot water may take a moment to reach full temperature during high usage or colder weather. For safety, the boiler may reset temporarily if irregularities occur.
- Heating System: The heating operates automatically, activating below 68°F and cycling off when the set temperature is reached. Radiators lack individual controls, so heat output can't be adjusted manually. As outdoor temperatures drop, the boiler runs more frequently to maintain indoor comfort.
