We had a wonderful stay at the Suites at Mr. Grouper’s with our family of four and would absolutely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, everything about this place made our Turks and Caicos trip extra special.The location is truly unbeatable. Being right next to the Fish Fry was a huge highlight — we could see all the festivities, music, and energy right from our second-floor balcony, which was such a fun experience for both adults and kids. You really can’t get a better spot for enjoying local culture.The suite itself exceeded our expectations. It was the most spacious accommodation we’ve ever had as a family, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity you could possibly need. It was comfortable, functional, and felt like a home away from home.We did experience a couple of minor plumbing hiccups, but they were handled promptly and professionally and did not take away from the overall experience at all.Service was great throughout our stay, and the food at Mr. Grouper’s restaurant was absolutely amazing — some of the best meals we had on the island. Having such an outstanding restaurant right downstairs was a huge plus.Overall, this was an excellent stay in an amazing location. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Turks and Caicos.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The room and everything in it was very clean. Easy check in process along with early check in. Nice pool area and good restaurant on site. Balcony view of the famous Thursday fish fry! Highly recommend staying here

Good location, close to the beach

The property is a 10 minute walk to Grace Bay beach and a 23 minute walk to the shops. Plenty of dining options close by. The pictures accurately protray the property. I enjoyed my stay.

Awesome stay in Grace Bay Area

The room is huge, nice, and clean. You have everything in the room: refrigerator, microwave, safe,...... Excellent location: the awesome local restaurant on the Island right next door, also the Fish Fry Thursday is at behind your room. Safety area. Just 5 minutes walking to the beach, and about 15' walking to Grace Bay Road. about 5' walking) and felt extremely safe. Check in and check out was very easy. We were really happy for staying here.

Our family stayed here over the Christmas Holiday and it was the perfect place away from those expensive resorts. The hotel room was large, clean and we had everything we needed (iron, dresser under beds, toilettrees, sink, refrigerator, balcony, etc.) The pool on the rooftop the kids really enoyed. We never saw any other guest there. The restaurant was the best part. Food is delicous and ambiance is great. Staff is very friendly. Lots of ppl coming from all over the island to eat there. Loved that the Thursday fish fry is held right outside property. We were able to easilty rent a car with the store/front desk here. She also coordinated ATV rides for us. Overall we would stay here again. It was close enough to the beach as well. Less then 10 minute walk from Grace Bay beach.

Best spot in the middle of all the beaches!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mr Groupers Suites in Turks and Caicos, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. Nestled in the heart of paradise, this suite provided the perfect blend of luxury and convenience. One of the highlights of our stay was the prime location. Situated in close proximity to some of the island's best beaches, we were able to explore and enjoy the crystal-clear waters and soft sandy shores with ease. Suited our needs perfectly

We know the island and didn’t require something swanky; instead we preferred to rent a car and drive to all the different beaches and attractions. Mr. Grouper suites was perfect for that. The room was clean and new, good ac, the beds were comfy. There’s a restaurant on site and the island’s fish fry takes place next door on Thursday evenings. I don’t think the value can be beat. If there’s one issue i can think of, it’s that the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great at times especially in the mid morning but this really didn’t affect us all that much. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot

It was a perfect decision to stay here with my children. Very clean, no broken parts, iron & board, friendly front desk agent Sabrina! The manager Yadley is so helpful and sweet! They have one of Turks and Caicos' popular restaurants called Mr. Groupers in the same compound and a gift shop. It is within walking distance of the beach, other restaurants, and Salt Mills. Beautiful view. If you want to see some local area views perfect spot. On Thursdays, there is a local fish fry festival, and guest what? it is right next door! I would recommend you to stay here.

New Year Stay

Overall good experience. Only issues were the water was not getting hot, however, it was addressed the next morning. Also, on vrbo it doesn’t state a deposit is required. However, it is. I’m aware that most places require deposit but it was not listed on the vrbo posting.

Clean and Comfortable

The room was bright and airy, it was enough room for myself and 2 teenage kids where we did not feel cramped. The rooftop pool felt like our private pool because we always seem to have it to ourselves, it was nice to have when we did not feel like going to the beach. In this location you will need a rental car which you can get right on the property. The only downside was the shower water pressure which was weak but that was the only negative. I would definitely stay here again as the location is close to Grace Bay Beach and shopping, restaurants which is a quick 20 min walk. There is a closer beach access closer to the hotel as well.

Just right!

It was exactly what we anticipated. The best part was Ms. Sabrina at front desk! She was super kind, incredibly helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable! The room was exactly what was described and shown online! The restaurant was definitely a local and a tourist spot with fabulous drinks, food and service! The walk to beach is not long or strenuous but it is a few blocks away (7 minute walk). The shops and restaurants were a good 20 minute walk but had sidewalks and all flat terrain. The pool on the roof is open 24 hrs and never crowded while we were there. The pool area has patio furniture and lounge chairs but basic. There was no music, the strings of lights were disheveled and no bathroom but still enjoyed it. All in all great place to stay:) just remember it’s not a fancy resort, it’s a hotel with really nice amenities

I stayed in one of the Suites @ MrGroupers in The Bight from 04/10-04/14 for my birthday. The location of this property felt perfect as my friends and I were able to enjoy all the festivities in Grace Bay without hassle. This location was near the best nightlife, several restaurants and dinner locations, very close to the beach, close to convenience stores and gas stations, etc. Not to mention the Thursday Fish Fry and other events literally happening below the balcony space. The property itself was very clean and the onsite hostess, Sabrina, was a literal angel. She was extremely helpful and insightful with all things in general, but from providing welcome drinks, to a first aid kit or just a good morning smile, made staying at the property even more wonderful. My friends and I have already began planning our next vacation back to TCI and we’re only interested in staying here. If you are looking for the perfect place, this is certainly worth it. It’s very homey and tranquil.

Conveniences

If you are looking for an economical option this may work for you. You can walk most places but may not want to walk 2+ kms to access Grace Bay restaurants each way. The kitchenette gives you the option to have cold food, but a grill, toaster, can/bottle opener are not available so cereal and milk can work. You will also need to rent chairs on the beach so when you add it all up are you really saving by staying off the beach? Where you do save is you are at the fish fry and parking for others is 15. The pool is not used by anyone so is all yours. We stayed 4 nights and our room was not cleaned but I am sure towels could be requested.

Wonderful place to stay near Grace Bay

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was amazing and always helpful, Felix was very responsive to our requests and always keeping the place nice and clean. The room was as advertised and nicely appointed. Clean and the small details were noted by this guest. Painting and furnishings were much appreciated. Large enough with a balcony, fridge and kitchen sink. Also had glasses , plates, bowls and silverware. The food at Groupers was so good too!! It was not on the beach but we knew that but location was close enough to walk. It was very convenient to have a car rental in the suites. EZ Motors was fabulous to deal with and I believe the prices were fair. The only down size was some road noise and loud music at times based on the location. I don't like air conditioning so we had our patio doors and window open so some of that could be remedied by having the air on. The local FISH FRY is right out back and the fun and food was amazing to watch from our balcony. We were on the 3rd floor (top floor) and had great views, We did not use the pool although it was nice as advertised. We were there for the ocean to be sure.
