Great location- Secluded, yet close to downtown Galena, Chestnut Mountain Resort and golf. The property was clean and well maintained with owners who were easy to communicate with when we needed them. It was perfect for our family of 8.

Great Getaway in Galena

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Child and pet friendly and wonderful location in the territory. Loved the hot tub and variety of games. Also enjoyed having access to the Owner’s Club.

Lovely property for a bookclub gathering

Well equipped kitchen, great layout for large groups -- with kitchen, large dining space, and living area all open for communal discussions, cooking etc. Bedrooms are comfortable and with nearby bathrooms. And the hot tub was a very fun addition! Very good property for group to gather. And owner was very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Galena - Family Trip

Overall it was a great trip, the house had everything we needed. The kids got to go to the owners club for swimming on a couple days. Located a short drive from downtown Galena. A family vacation success. Thanks!

Family getaway

The house was roomy and perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 small children. We had concerns about the deck railing as we had young children with us. We enjoyed the owners club daily. Good location. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Family friendly

Some family stayed here and were happy. But I was in another home, so not really qualified to rate. But owners were very cooperative and helpful.Kids enjoy the sledding and swimming.

Great house for a family trip

We loved the house. We had 8 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space. Everything was clean and nice and the house was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. An added bonus was the fire pit, the grill, the hot tub, the video games, and the air hockey table. We enjoyed it all and would definitely recommend the house.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time with our family. The house was a great location. Close to pool, riding stables and golf courses. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the lower level provided plenty of room for two younger families. Grandparents were on main level.Hot tub was enjoyed also.

Spacious & Cozy Cabin!

We celebrated Thanksgiving here with our two kids and grandma and the house was perfect! The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had plenty of space, everyone had their own bedroom, and yet we still got that cozy cabin feel. The kids had a blast playing ping pong, air hockey & darts, and the kitchen had all the amenities needed for a Thanksgiving feast. We had a couple questions and the owners were very quick to respond which was great. We'd highly recommend this beautiful property and we hope to return as well!

Christmas celebration

Perfect location next to the horse trail loop. Took the dogs out many times on this trail, often the kids came also. Beautiful and quiet. We were able to walk to the owners club to swim. Property was cozy, kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was lovely to enjoy. Adults and kids had fun with air hockey. Rocker on the front porch was wonderful. Weather was inseasonably warm, so we were able to enjoy it. 3 bedrooms down and one up worked for us. Grandma and grandpa got away from some of the kids craziness. Clean up was the easiest we have ever experienced...but having to haul the garbage out was unexpected. There is no garbage collection at this lovely collection of homes and vacation property sites. We have been several times to this area because it is so easy for all of us to get to, and not a far distance.

Good location. Easy access to golf and down town area. Host was quick to respond to questions. Host sent reminders and checked in on us. Pet friendly. For future renters, property is located on an incline, therefore not many flat grass areas outside.
