Great Quiet Getaway!
This cabin is exactly as advertised. Comfortable and secluded. Just perfect for some down time! Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings was so relaxing and the hot tub was a nice extra. We also enjoyed close access to ride our bikes on High Bridge Trail and the James River Heritage Trail. We also enjoyed exploring Farmville and Appomattox National Historic Site.

Cabin in the woods
Pros : Secluded area, great internet speeds, clean, great mattresses, all appliances needed, towels, nice furniture, comfortable hot tub, smokeless fire pit with nice outdoor furniture, big enough deck for eating outside, blocks on the deck for kids and all cooking utensils/dinnerware needed to eat and cook. Cons : Nothing available to cut wood for fire pit, hot tub water smells, no grass in the area, nothing close by in terms of a market/store.

Lovely cottage in a private location
This cottage is in a beautiful, secluded location. It was very private and well maintained. I booked it mainly for the hot tub but was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the place was.

Host profile image
I am a mother of three who loves the outdoors. We live in Richmond, VA and our family has been vacationing in the Blue Ridge Mountains for many years. There is something about this place that keeps us coming back. We have been looking for a property for two years and fell in love with the location off of route 151. Our close friends invested in "Time to Wine Down" with us, and we have completely renovated the property. Fast forward a year later I met investors that have become close friends of mine. I now managing their properties. Our vacation home portfolio expanded and started Pathway Properties. We hope you enjoy the beautiful mountains as much as we do.
