Easily accessible by car, Sama Petra is located centrally between several destinations. Jerash (24m/38km), Ajloun (22/35), Salt (11/18), Madaba (43/69), Dead Sea (45/72), Baptismal Site (36/58), Wadi Rum (220/354), Petra (168/270) and Amman the capital (25/40).
If visiting Jordan, airport car rental is recommended.
The neighborhood is outside the hustle and bustle of the nearby cities of Amman and Al-Salt. It's a quiet neighborhood with a few other exclusive similar properties where families who live in the city love to visit and vacation.
There are nearby food grocery stores and bakeries. There are also a few restaurants and coffee shops nearby offering countryside views of the hills that oversea the Dead Sea area and the west bank across the border.

We loved hosting Jackie and her family. They kept the place neat and took care of the property as though it was their own home. We are glad they enjoyed their stay with us taking full advantage of the countryside views, swimming pool, lovely jacuzzi and the sound system!

A really great place to stay!
Our experience at Ussama’s house was delightful.
Honestly a really great place to stay!
Amazing view from the pool.
We arrived late in the evening & what a pleasure to find some fruits, water & yoghurts in the fridge.
The communication with Ussama was very good. He was very flexible, answered to any request at any time, provided us with very useful advice.
A very nice person. Really recommended!
Also, great hospitality from Abu Shadi the person in charge of taking care of the house, the pool,.. He is a very kind, discreet and respectful person .
Always ready to do is utmost to make feel you as at home. We really felt at our ease.
His family also cooked the breakfasts & one dinner, and it was an authentic and delicious meals available at very reasonable extra cost.
We would definitely stay here again.

I'm a Jordanian who lives and works with my family in the US. I enjoy outdoor living and the views from higher elevations . When I visit Jordan, I stay at Sama Petra with my wife and 3 kids who enjoy the swimming pool and the hiking around the area. We enjoy it so much that we wanted to extend the welcome to everyone who is looking for an extension of their homes away from their own home. I'm hoping that you'll enjoy the property as much as we do when we visit. Welcome.
What makes this property unique
We are adding fruits and vegetables to the farm which guests are welcome to pick from. The property also has a caretaker who looks after it and ensures that our guests have any help they need during their stay. The caretakers accommodations are away from the house by the main gate to the property.
