Great Desoto home.

It was an amazing property and plenty of room for my family of 8

Beautiful and clean. I was missing large skillets to cook and the oven wasnt working without the owner knowing but they gave us a discount for the inconvenience but our overall trip was fabulous and i would definitely rent it again if I ever came back to Desoto Texas. It was a peacful experience.

Short on necessities

The house looks impressive from the outside, and the app was amazing for checking in. The neighborhood felt safe and secure. However, the beds were terrible. One V had broken slates and center support was broken. Thank God they had toilet paper because there was nothing else. No shampoo, soap, trash bags, coffee, dishwasher soap, salt/pepper, ect. Things that are found in VRBO properties. soap,

The beds have been replaced guest before her sadly did break the beds that morning. We did offer the below amenities however not sure why the guest mentioned these were missing

Not as i expected

First of all there was roach poison all around the floor with my small grandkids, then there was a roach in the bed and shower, next the beds was not comfortable at all abd the kitchen was poorly stocked trash was left and we didn't know what day trash was coming also packages was delivered amd i had to get them out the rain which was not my job and the furniture really need to be upgraded

Guest was correct previous guest was filthy which caused roaches to enter the home. The home has been delisted since December in order for the pest control to take in effect and ensure all the bugs have been terminated because of this however it is now clean and back to the quality state it has been prior to this. It now now available again as of February.

Disappointing

Property lacked amenities, no clocks, no bedside tables and lamps in two bedrooms, beds were thin mattresses on board slats, no box spring, mattresses about 1 foot off floor. No entry or exit instructions although we emptied trash and washed dishes. Only two loveseats, no recliner or easy chair for us that we 80 years and older. Too expensive for what we expected, had prepaid and pictures did not show amenities that were lacking. Two smoke detectors started chirping, but batteries were replaced while were there-thanks. Sorry for the lengthy review but we did not have a good time. Property needs upgrading to match what you are charging to stay at this vrbo

Guest obviously did not view the pictures; the home is just as pictured, given the guests were older all 80+ years of age so may not have had time to look through it all. No exit instructions is to make it easy for guest all you need to do is head on home safe journey and i will handle everything.
