Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, location
On the surface the house is beautiful and fit our needs. The bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable. Washer and dryer are upstairs with three of the bedrooms and detergent pods and bleach were available. That said, every other VRBO I've stayed in (whether I booked it or I was a guest for a girls get-away that someone else who booked) has been immaculate, including everything in the kitchen and kitchen cupboards including utensils and cookware. This property was not up to that standard.Everything in the cupboards was sticky and needed to be cleaned before use. Not really what we had planned for our family reunion. Additionally, the insides of both of the outer doors was gross (see picture of the door from the dining room). The property manager was always prompt at returning messages. He came over to address the hot water issues we had on the first floor. Pro tip- run the hot water on the second floor for a bit to get hot water moving to the first floor. We also advised him that there were no dish towels and minimal TP in the house. He said he would contact the housekeepers... but they did not come in the three days we were there. Fortunately, there is a huge Target about 10 minutes from the house, so we bought our own supplies. We talked with the property manager about all of these things and I would hope that there will be a deep clean of the entire kitchen.
