About the host
Hosted by Beth Bogren
Brian and I have lived in this land for the past two years. Brian is from Colorado Springs and I am from Yreka, California. He works for a local, medicinal herb company and I run the ranch!
Brian is an old school rock climber who is learning how to be a plumber and electrician and carpenter now that he’s managing 70 acres of land! I am a trained chef and I used to host women’s retreats, which is what led me to this land! Now my focus is creating memorable experiences for our guests while they are visiting!

Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this area 25 years ago as a teenager and always dreamed of living in Selma one day. I love the tall trees and being close to the creek and lake and river and even the ocean!
What makes this property unique
Whisper Canyon Ranch is extra special because once you come through the gate, it’s like you’ve entered a magical forest village. It’s like nowhere you’ve ever been! I’ve added so many special touches and I love making sure that everyone has everything they want and more!
