Overall this was a really nice rental for a couple. Spotlessly clean. Comms with property management were excellent. Views from upstairs were great! Close to pool, beach, and Napili, Kapalua, and DT Fleming bays/beaches.Like any place over there, ants can be pretty intense, even upstairs in the bedroom, but wasn’t out of control.The unit has been used as a rental for awhile, so don’t expect a lot of modern upgrades. My one negative comment is that virtually every window treatment (blinds won’t go up, stay up, etc) really should be replaced. And the master bathroom window upstairs needs to be serviced to open; it does not, which leads to a hot, steamy bathroom! All in all a very relaxing stay!!

Our new favorite place

This villa was beyond exquisite for our honeymoon. The view was fantastic and my husband and I have decided we will never stay anywhere else when we return to Maui! This will always be our villa to stay at! Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!

Breathtaking views from spacious home

Beautiful home with ocean and island views from the lanai and bedroom. Close proximity to pool, beach, shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was very easy. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing Views & Quiet

Kapalua is a perfect quiet getaway. Awesome for walkers and Kapalua Bay closeby is gorgeous. Condo itself has amazing second floor views but is showing a bit of wear. Could use a refresh and a pantry with more than salt and pepper. No oil. No foil. Had to buy a coffee grinder as an example of what wasn’t there.

Great condo with amazing views and location

We loved this condo. It was perfect for the 3 of us, 2 adults and 1 child (9 yo). It was very spacious for the 3 of us. The view from upstairs was beautiful. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and the pool was not even a minute away. The water heater broke while we were there and it was fixed within 24 hours. The customer service from the Parrish group was phenomenal. They checked in on us before we arrived, during our stay and at checkout. I would 100% recommend this condo.

Kapalua with a view

This place was awesome! Lots of space. The view from the upstairs bedroom is the absolute best. Loved having the couch up there. It was so nice to wake up with that view. Bed was sooo comfy!The area is so beautiful, the grounds are so pretty. Very close walk to the Kapalua trail. The only bummer was the wind which obviously is not a knock on this individual condo. It was our first time staying specifically in Kapalua so not sure if it’s always windy in that area on the hillside or if it was just a particularly windy week. The beach right by the condo was always to windy to hang on, but a short walk took us to Kapalua Bay Beach which was a great little beach that was more sheltered from the wind. I would very happily stay in this unit again.

Paradise on Kapalua Ridge Trail

Property had stocked kitchen and beach gear. The beach is very convenient and super quiet. Property has gorgeous landscaping. Beware of stairs to ground floor unit and beach if you aren’t mobile. Comfy king bed and cabinet sleeper. Great to have 2 showers. Parish Maui was excellent with communication. They left cloth shopping bags and coffee grounds. We shopped at Whalers General Store 10 min away. Merrimans requires reservations a month in advance but is so worth it for fresh catch seafood and beautiful sunsets just 5 minutes from property.

Ease of parking.But the unit itself! 15G5! You have to be embarrassed. This unit had what looked like original carpet from 1980. It was alarming. The bathroom and kitchen need to be blown up and started again. They had original 1980 tiles, old appliances, poor layout, tired older bed.For the cost of these rentals, you would think management would do a better job of putting out a quality product befitting the beautiful location.I would recommend the area, but not this unit.Bruce C

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will keep this short. The view from the villa is amazing. I really enjoyed that. Now the issues I had with the property are as followed. Blinds, well the upstairs is the bedroom and it has a ocean view. It has a little deck and some big windows. Well those windows have blinds on them. 4 of them would not come down. I called Vicky about it and got no response or a call back. I called the onsite property manage and talked to him about it. He was aware of this and told me that blinds where ordered and wouldn’t be there for 4 to 5 weeks. Well that does me no good. Even though I am on vacation in paradise, I am on vacation and would like to sleep in. They did put up a “blind” on one of the windows. That didn’t help anything. Honestly if I would have known the blinds did NOT work in the bedroom, I wouldn’t have rented this property. Things like this should be mentioned on the rental description. I think the property management company should disclose this. The owner of the property obviously hasn’t been there in a long time or doesn’t care. The shower upstairs is something else to say the least. Haha don’t use it. You’ll see when you get there. That was a joke. Beach access is nice. The area is nice. The blinds are junk. I would have liked some money back. But that’s hopeful thinking.

KBV15G5 is a beautiful unit just above the pool with a gorgeous view of the Maui oven and Oneloa. Nicely decorated and perfect for our vacation.

Property great, although quite a distance from some restaurants and other sights.

One disturbing item: No landline in service and no cell service. Had to drive OUT from the property in order to use cell. Was told cell towers are far from property. If we were to come again, I would request a one-story unit.

The grounds and location were really beautiful too. The only negative was that the hair blow dryer did not work! Fortunately the wind was blowing like crazy most of our stay so a blow dryer was not necessary! We ate at Da Kitchen Café (Kahului), Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop, The Gazebo, Miso Phat, A'A Roots, Maui Brewing Company, Paia Fish Market and Monkeypod Kitchen(Ka'anapali) and all had great food, service and value for the money! We were only in Maui for a few days, but we went whale watching twice with Ultimate Whale Watch and drove up to Haleakala for the sunrise (unfortunately it was raining/sleeting this time), hit a couple of beaches, and got a tattoo at Mid Pacific Tattoo. We really enjoyed every aspect of our trip and I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family!

Great Views, Peaceful, Best Walking Paths Around. Good Golf.

For the visitor, the views and location are tremendous. To the owner, I would say your cloths dryer didn't work. It stopped all the time with "clean the filter" messages. We cleaned it and even took the filter out. No success. The unit is quite dated compared to two other units we have stayed in on the Bay and on the Ridge. Overall, we had a great, relaxing stay.

Dated. Overdue for facelift

This is a beautiful location. We have stayed at these properties 3 times in the last 15 years. This particular condo is overdue for a head to toe refresh. The kitchen smelled of mildew and made food prep unappealing. Blinds don’t got up or down. Peeling paint. Ants. Drawers on dressers don’t open or close. Disappointed in this unit.

Sweeping views and amazing location!

The location was perfect. Steps from the pool and the Kapalua Trail. The beach directly below the unit was almost private. There were never more than 15 other people on the entire beach. There are several great snorkeling areas within a couple of miles - one - Kapalua Bay is within walking distance. We did not cook much, so we cannot speak to how well appointed the kitchen was. A plus with this unit is having two bathrooms with showers. We look forward to staying here again.
