The covered deck spans the length of the house and sits literally feet away from the lake. A child friendly swimming area is steps from the front door. The Shore House has a great swim dock which has a place to tie up one boat. You will see sunrise and sunset from the deck and the dock. Beautiful!

This charming pet friendly cottage on the lake is amazing. It’s convenient to restaurants, racing, casino, fishing, and any other activities you may fancy. The most relaxing stay I’ve experienced in a long time.
A very relaxing stay beautiful scenery house is well kept the host were awesome. Overall great experience would definitely recommend to any of our friends.
We had a great stay at the shore house! The location is situated minutes from all of the activities of Hot Springs, but allowed us to be in a beautiful, quiet spot on the water for the amazing sunrise and sunset. The house is cozy and has everything we needed. Beds are comfy, towels are good quality, and the porch is the best spot! I took a 2-hour nap there one day and it was blissful!
This is the perfect spot for our girls trip. We come here every year and love the place! The access to the water is easy for us older gals. Check in is very easy and everything was as expected.
Didn't use fireplace.very nice house right down ,,by water, roomy. The deck was nice and peaceful , beautiful sunsets glowing on water.would rent again.
We had a lovely stay! Everything was fantastic and would recommend highly for a small family like ours. We travel to Hot Springs every year since 2008, and this was our favorite spot thus far! We hope to be back!
Loved the proximity to the lake. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Porch was nice to sit on and take in the views. Spent a lot of time swimming off the dock and watching the boats FLY by.

We loved that the house was right on the edge of the water. Furnishings were cozy and they had everything we needed as far as kitchen items. Property owner was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying there again.
Enjoyed staying here with grandkids. They loved that the dock was so close to the house and the water. Everything was just like the pictures. We will stay here again.
Excellent! Can’t ask for a better view of the lake.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Buhrow
Captain Mark and Gigi Buhrow owned and operated the Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat from 1983 to 2016. They have four children and four grandchildren. Hot Springs has been home to us for over 30 years. They have owned lake property for rent since 1986 and enjoy sharing beautiful Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs with visitors from all over the county.
In retirement they enjoy boating, camping and traveling America.
Why they chose this property
We built the Shore House as an investment property. We actually love this home so much that when it is available we booked it for ourselves and enjoy all that it has to offer. I know this is not unusual for property owners to stay in their vacation rental homes, but it is for us because we actually live directly across the lake. This cottage is our favorite because of the proximity to the lake (about 5 feet) and the sunrise and sunset view from the deck.
What makes this property unique
The things we love most about the Shore House is how bright and refreshing it is. The covered deck is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee and a book. We love the swim area and enjoy the fact that the house is so close to the lake. The swim area is perfect for lake swimming because it is shallow at the shore and gradually gets deeper as you go out. The sunset from the covered deck is a show stopper!
