This place was central to the areas we wanted to explore (Porcupines, Ontonagon, Keeweenaw and Marquette/Munising). It was comfortable, clean and the deck was relaxing while overlooking the lake. The price was very reasonable and we saved a few bucks cooking our own meals.

Great clean and comfortable space. The lake view was beautiful! Convenient location; we visited the Porcupine Mountains and Copper Harbor- lots to explore on the Keweenaw peninsula! The apartment is on a main road so easy access, but some traffic noise. However at night it was minimal and we slept well.

I would like to thank Renee for letting us stay we had a great time! The house was very clean and well taken care of. Easy access to everything. Bait shop grocery store gas station. It's nice to fish from the back yard plus the beautiful! View would really recommend this place to anybody. Ps thanks again Renee

They place was very clean and accommodating for our family of 4. We love having fires I the backyard at home and was centrally located for everything we wanted to see and do. The host was quick to respond when trying to get a hold of for questions! We loved the backyard view and how close it was to the Pow-Wow that we got to experience for the first time. Everything was so clean and easy to use. Thank you so much! We would love to come back with a larger group possibly next time.

Expedient responses to inquiries. The home is clean with extra touches such as soft, absorbent towels, k cups for coffee and tea, creamers, a First Aid kit, cotton balls, q tips, soap, shampoo, conditioner, good dish soap (Dawn), comfy bed and pillows, nice size deck, and a potted of geraniums on the deck. Easy day trips to areas in the Keewenaw Peninsula. The home is off a US Hwy as are many other motels in the area. The only drawback would be the noise from the traffic.

It was the perfect location for traveling up through the Keeweenaw Peninsula then on checkout day we traveled to the Porcupine Mountains so it was like in the middle of our 2 destinations. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Rental was great for 4 people. We were not crowded at all. It was nice having the water view off the nice deck.Like others, the road noise is there but we were gone from early morning till evening so only an issue in the wee hours. There was a box fan in the bedroom closest to the road that helped with drowning out the eary traveler's passing by. Those simple earplugs made of memory foam would work great. The unit had other units connected to it, but very quiet. A nice place and a great price. Host sent some information on where to eat and stores nearby. Plus lots of literature in unit on things to see and do in the area.Bishop Baraga Shrine is just a few minutes south of rental as is the Canyon falls which is a must do walk. We had a lovely stay and the color was amazing. Brockway mountain drive up by Copper Harbor was our favorite.
