Sandy Acres Hobbit Cabin is a one bedroom 2 Log Beds with Loft via ladder... nestled in the majestic hills of Kentucky, on 30 Acres 5 miles south of Liberty. Family owned and run. Our non-smoking, pet friendly ($20), log cabin has central heat and air conditioning, Log Beds, with all the comforts of home. Cable TV-DVD player and High Speed WI-FI service. Quiet getaway. We are pet friendly and charge a nominal one time per stay $20 pet cleaning fee. We will send you a request after you have checked out.

Sandy Acres is the perfect place for a quiet time away for any individual or couple wanting to escape the busy routine of life, a romantic getaway for two, a vacation time for a family with 2 or 3 children, Family Reunions or even a group of hunters! You will also enjoy our modern kitchen with stove, range, microwave, mini refrigerator, and fireplace. The cabin in located on a hilltop of 30 acres, so bringing your horse and trailer is always welcome. Of course, being fully furnished, you'll find plenty of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee maker and toaster. Modern bath / shower are available. Please bring your own toiletries. Enjoy the screened windows for clean mountain air, lots of land to roam, as well as plenty of room to park your trailer. You'll also enjoy the fire pit for night time bonfires & s'mores! 24 hr Security camera outside of the building for your security.

Keep and eye out for Deer and Turkey that wander around the property at Dusk and Dawn. We provide a charcoal park grill and an electric grill depending if you are country folk or city folk for your enjoyment.

My kids were participating in a horse camp at the ag-center and we stayed at this lovely cabin. It was perfect for us. Very clean. Beautiful landscaping and peaceful setting. Easy check-in and check-out procedure. We look forward to coming back next year!

We stayed in the Hobbit. The cabin was clean and inviting. It had everything we needed except for our personal items as was stated in the description. My daughter really enjoyed the porch swing. I absolutely loved the area. Quiet and peaceful! The landscaping was very beautiful too. My daughter loved the porch swing. The owner is fantastic to work with. He’s was willing to help any way he could. The fee for my dog was minimal compared to other places.

Cute & cozy cabin

Booked this quaint little cabin 'last minute' for my husband and I plus our 19 y/o son as we decided late, like not until May 10th that we were going to show a couple of our miniature horses Memorial Day weekend at the Area III ASPC/AMHR show in Liberty, KY--couldn't believe this cute & cozy 'Hobbit' cabin was available, reasonably priced, & within 5 miles of our horse show location! Had all the necessities and awesome water pressure--detailed check-in instructions & directions about arrival--literally just a key code, so could arrive 'late' and we didn't get there 'til well after midnight by the time we got our horses situated after our long drive from NW Iowa. Loved this location! Husband ended up having to stay home due to massive amount of rain causing field flooding issues. Our son loved his loft bedroom. Was our 1st time participating in this particular show; and 1st VRBO stay--both were great... & if we ever return, would love it if this same property was available! --Tricia
