The area around the south side of Cala Vadella beach has a cluster of beautiful homes in a wild setting of green hills that culminate in dramatic cliffs plunging into the Mediterranean, with unforgettable sunsets, given this is the SW coast of the island. The action is down at the beach itself and around the super-convenient Spar supermarket and Sardina Loca restaurant on the road to Sant Josep. Cala d'Hort, Cala Carbo and Cala Moli are the other chilled-out beaches in the immediate vicinity, each with its own character and restaurants. A view of the mystical Es Vedra is never far away as you move around the area, especially on the country trails that lead from the house towards Cala Carbo! We adore getting around the area by bike; many routes with great views, and Ibiza's highest peak (Sa Talaia, 475m) is nearby for the best mountain bike ride on the island! This corner of Ibiza has zero night-clubs, a choice of bars and restaurants to suit every taste, and overall a laid-back cosmopolitan vibe. The municipal center is the gorgeous village of Sant Josep, 10 min drive inland, for more great restaurants, live music bars, banks, post office, laundromats, bigger grocery stores, weekly market, car wash, fuel, tennis/padel courts, beautiful church etc.
