This beautifully furnished, treehouse-styled apartment is perfect for your getaway. The 6.5-acre tract of land is less than 20 minutes from downtown Austin, on the edge of the famed Hill Country.

The apartment is approximately 825 sqft and is located above the main floor of Lotus Bend Sanctuary, an active meeting and retreat center. *Property is only accessible by a ~20 step staircase!

The land it sits on has been sculpted over 30 years by the property's owner, Alfonso Carlon. Enjoy peaceful mornings watching the deer, armadillos, birds, and peacocks.

*Please note that we have a groundskeeper who stays on site in one of the downstairs retreat rooms - the apartment is a completely separate unit. There may be events occurring during your stay, such as professional retreats or yoga events.

Our stay was even better than expected. The property is lovely and peaceful. Very warm and inviting. Indoors was clean, very comfortable, and uniquely arranged for the guests. My friend and I definitely have this on our, Let's do it again list.

The scenic treehouse was better than expected!!! The photos don’t show how big it is! We were surprised by the 2 bedrooms and 2 sinks and toilets! The windows let in much light and the screened in porch above the beautiful grounds was our favorite spot! Even on the rainy day-sooooo peaceful. And walking the labyrinth! And the bees!!! This is a special place !

Overall this was a good stay. The on-site host is the father and he was very welcoming. The views are beautiful, the grounds were nice, and we dug the rooms. The only issue I had was when I went to fill the water in the Keurig it hadn't been cleaned out (water from previous person, so it was dirty). One other note is that there was a community gathering on the deck that is at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the apartment, which is fine, but would have been nice to have a heads up. Again, overall a good stay.
