The eagle nest ocean view getaway is on an acreage ocean side property facing the spectacular Howe Sound Mountain. With the Eagles flying above and deers visiting in the yard, it’s a secluded stay.

Only a 5-minute drive from the ferry terminal and close to all the amenities.

There are many trails and secluded beaches within a ten-minute walk.

The guest suite is located on its own private level of an occupied house. The suite is an open concept with cozy and modern design. The entire suite has a custom cedar finishings, hardwood floors, a large rainforest shower overlooking the ocean side, a kitchenette, a BBQ outside on its own private patio. This modern suite is a true west coast experience.

The suite can accommodate 4 people. One luxury queen size bed in the bedroom and a pullout queen size sofa bed in the living room. You can relax and enjoy peace and beauty of the Mather Nature from any corn of the suite.

The kitchen has mini bar fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine, hot water kettle, utensils, salt, and pepper, pots, and pans. There is no stove or hot plate in the suite, but there is a BBQ outside on the patio has a side burner for guests to cook.

The guest suite has its own private patio and backyard facing the stunning Howe Sound mountains and ocean.

There is a rocky trail to the end of the property, but no beach access.

The three flights of steps all had metal anti slip and motion lighting for safe entrance after dark or in the rain. Much appreciated. A fabulous start to 2026. Highly recommend.

Our stay was very nice, very easy to check in and check out! Beautiful location on a beautiful island and the view doesn't get much better than that! Will definitely stay again, only thing is I wish it had a stove, but does have a small toaster oven, toaster, microwave and bbq! Overall, loved this place!

Beautiful place , enjoyed our stay. If I could make one suggestion it would be that they put in a a king size bed with a firmer mattress. That would level it up to 6 stars in my opinion.

Canada Day visit was superb

Check in was very easy. Beware of 40 steps however, on your way down. This home is well made. We felt comfortable inside and outside the suite. Great bbq and view from the deck.

The views of the water and mountains were breathtaking, and the back patio was a great place to relax. Nancy was incredibly considerate, promptly replacing the gas while we were cooking, and they were flexible with the check-in/out times when there were no immediate bookings. Incredible waterside view.

We had an amazing anniversary experience on the island, the suite was perfect for our needs. The patio has a sweeping view of the bay, and the mountains just beyond. The hosts were accommodating to our needs and very helpful. The whole experience left us wanting for more, we would definitely come back for another trip in the future.

Wonderful hideaway

We had a very relaxing stay. It was raining and foggy and still we could get a glimmer of the view. It was quiet inside and out. We walked there as we chose not to take our car. We got wet enroute the less than an hour walk, and we were able to dry out and get warm and relaxed instantly. It was a wonderful get away for us.

Beautiful quiet location

The view from this property is absolutely phenomenal! Gorgeous property with wonderful communication from the owner. Loved grilling on the patio overlooking the water and waking up to the sounds of nature. Just be aware that there are a lot of steps leading down to the unit and you have to pay for the ferry each time you go across to the island.

Extraordinary view

The views from the property are more stunning in person. It was wonderful to have the big windows surrounding us and feeling like the forest and ocean were right there. Very comfortable and well stocked for preparing basic meals (no stove but there’s the bbq if needed!) Bed and sofa were great and bathroom clean and spacious. The deck is secluded and peaceful - we saw so many hummingbirds!

I would rate this place 4.5 out of 5. Everything was top notch, except there was no microwave (it was not necessary but would have been super helpful) additionally there was no door to the washroom (that was a little upsetting). Otherwise I would visit this location again and recommend to my friends and family. Owner was super friendly as well. 😍
