Our extended family of 7 adults and 6 kids loved this house and had plenty of space. It was clean ,roomy well stocked, and near attractions we wanted to see. We love the Black Hills and hope to return someday.

This was a great house to host our multi-family vacation. It was clean, easy to check-in, and has all the things you would want in appliances and accessories. Would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would add - is to add to the listing the stocked household items, we brought items such as crock pots and pans to be sure we had them but the house has everything you would need.

Perfect Place!

We traveled with 8 kids, 9 adults and 3 side by sides for 5 days of fun in The Black Hills. This house was perfect and had everything we needed! Great location and room for our 5 families. The house was clean, beds were comfortable for all, pool was heated and the hot tub felt great! The host communicated well, answered our questions and check in and out was easy. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and would love to stay here again!

This is our third trip to the Black Hills of SD and this VRBO was the best. Professionally run, the house is magnificent and the location, from out point of view was ideal. Lead is just a couple of miles w/groceries (and get Pastries one morning from "That Place"), Spearfish is not far; it is a bit of a hike to Mt Rushmore & related sites but we find this part of the Black Hills ideal, The house is probably too large for the 5 adults we had, but the bed/bathroom layout was fantastic - you can easily fit quite a few more people in the house. We are snobs when it comes to beds and kitchens - we found the beds adequate and kitchen fantastic-had everything we needed and the grill was top notch and uses natural gas so never a concern about running out. We used the hot tub every day, and got back into Ping pong out in the garage. You have a neighbor next door & across the street but there was never a concern about noise/privacy. While the house is somewhat in the woods it is in a development which at the moment is not very full. We unwittingly came during Sturgis (how did we miss that?) but it was always felt tranquil despite most renters in the area being there to ride Harleys which were great to see coming and going. There was a rafter of 20 wild turkeys that came foraging every day, and deer that seemed only mildly interested in the humans. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy, did not find the clubhouse/pool interesting enough to use, but it was never very busy,

Deadwood Marathon Weekend

We came and stayed 4 nights for the Deadwood 5k, 1/2 marathon and full marathon. We had multiple runners and this location and house was perfect! Beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The house was amazing. Super comfortable and very spacious. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Only minor downside was finding it the first time but after that it was pretty straight forward!

Terrific Family Reunion

The property was absolutely perfect!!!! Perfectly clean and tidy, when opening the front door it was absolutely stunning both inside and looking outside through the windows, loved the large deck, spacious kitchen that many could be in and work together, so easy for the entire group to be together. Everything thoughtfully provided for a group!!!

This place is really wonderful. It is perfect for a large group. Alot of thought went into the layout. Common powder room in each floor along with bathrooms for each bedroom. 2 huge common areas. Loads of comfortable seating, throws, towels, linens. Beautifully decorated with glamorous furnishing. Great outdoor spaces and views. Huge heated garage for our motorcycles and gear. We loved it and will stay again.

Wonderful June stay

We had a great stay at Pyrite Creek! Weather was cool and rainy but this didn’t stop us from having a great time. This is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. Hosts were extremely responsive and were out quickly to fix ice maker that was not working. We loved the multiple fridges and freezers, large dining table for our extended family, garage with ping pong table, and the covered deck, as well as hot tub. We didn’t use the gas fire table but that is an excellent feature as well. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Thanksgiving Reunion

The property was nice, plenty of room for our families. 2 living spaces were appreciated and there were enough beds. The only suggestion to future guests is to bring your own dish cloth and knives if you plan to do any chopping. Also, there is a Nespresso machine if you want to bring some vertuo pods. Otherwise the house was well stocked.
