Forget about stairs and elevators while you're here -- you can just stroll up to your front door, and slip out anytime for a quick dip in the pool, soak in the spa or game on the court. If you're traveling with children, you'll love the convenience. And if anyone in your group has accessibility issues, the accommodations couldn't be better!
Start your days on the patio outside our living and dining area. Here you can enjoy the balmy air, salty breezes, and the sound of the surf . . . all while enjoying free WiFi for your smartphone or laptop! Cradle a cup of coffee while pelicans soar overhead on their way to the ocean, early fishermen stroll over to the nearby ponds and docks to try their luck, and another perfect Florida day breaks.
If you wake up especially early one morning, you will witness the breathtaking sunrise. And the beach is always smooth and new in the morning, with shells half-buried at the high-tide mark. Walk down your private boardwalk onto the sands and enjoy!

We thought the condo was very nice and comfortable. All the facilities were in working order. The kitchen supplies were a little skimpy with few spoons, knives, forks, regular sized wine glasses, and no spices. All else was very comfortable and nice. Thank you.

Having to travel to get the keys and turn them in was a little inconvenient. The oven was filthy. We were given the wrong beach access code and got caught in the rain and had to climb over the fence to get back in. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

St.Augustine Racquet Club

We love staying at the St. Augustine Racquet Club! The location, security and access to the beach are amazing. We have stayed in other units that were much more updated and cleaner. The matress in the master is terrible. Dishes were dirty...we bought disposable, towels were stained and Ladies we were only given 1 roll of toilet paper for a 10 day stay. Needless to say we bought that too. This particular unit could use some work. But overall the Racquet Club is a great place to stay!

This is a great property with horrible property management. The condo is well taken care of and in a great location. The check in process was horrid. I arrived after office hours, was given the wrong box number via email. It took over an hour to get the correct box number. When I asked about the parking permit that cost an extra 25 (not 15 as stated in the description), I was told I was supposed to print that out before I left home. I was given no solution and finally told to park somewhere safe. None of that was true. The helpful staff at the condo had my parking permit when I stopped at the gate. Never will I ever book a property managed by VTrips.

Disappointed in the Unit

The resort itself was great. However, the unit we stayed in was not well maintained. I am ok with furnature and fixings being outdated, I am not ok with broken furnature, water damage in the bathroom, and having to was the linens on one of the beds because it looked dirty. I know there are better units in this resort, I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

Enjoyable Stay

The 4 of us enjoyed the convenience and comfort of the unit. On the whole it was clean. Beds were comfortable. We found we could not walk barefoot. The bottoms of our feet or socks got quite dirty. I also suggest a safety bar or bars be put in the shower. I am 75. I had difficulty getting in and out of the shower as there was nothing to hold onto. The tub and walls were slick. The little pads were worn. The kitchen was well equipped. This unit was close to the pool and beach which was a big plus since all of us were seniors.

It was okay for the price

The condo is definitely a little more dated than the pictures showed, but for the price it's not a bad place! There was parking right outside of the sliding door, although the key didn't work on that door so you still have to go around to lock/unlock the door. The beach was a very short walk from the condo and their beach access was well maintained. The pools were nice, but I'm not sure either one was actually heated. The biggest suggestion I have is to make sure you get the rental insurance - they do not provide any refund even when a hurricane is approaching unless a mandatory evacuation notice is issued. We were under a voluntary evacuation and being from the Midwest, we didn't know what to expect and chose to leave early - forfeiting our remaining stay.

First Floor Convenience

There is a steep walkway to the balcony door from the parking lot. There is quite a long walk to the beach with about 20 steps up and over the dunes to the beach. The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The twin beds were not very comfortable but the queen size bed was fine. I did not like having to go off property to collect and return keys.

Great for our family’s needs

The condo was very clean and everything was in working order. It’s definitely not updated, but we went in knowing that, and it was perfect for our family’s needs. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and just a short walk from the condo. The beach was just across the boardwalk. I will say it was nearly impossible to get through to v-trips, the owners of the property. In trying to call the v-trips local office in St. Augustine, I was transferred to 3 different locations and only ended up getting voicemail in the end. Overall, a great beach trip!

The rental was exactly what was advertised!

There were plenty of kitchen items to use, everything was clean and updated. I loved the first floor and back patio with chairs. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and there was cable tv as well as a DVD player. I will definitely rent again in the future.

Great location with easy beach access

I just returned home from my trip, and overall my kids and I had a great time. Pros: Unit was clean Washer/dryer was great to have Proximity to beach (2-minute walk) Complex was quiet and friendly Pool was clean, not crowded Cons: The sleeper sofa was in rough shape — my two youngest (4 and 5) slept on it, and I felt bad for them. I wouldn’t even count this towards the total bed count. It sagged in the middle and you could feel every mattress coil, even through the bedding. Supplies — if a unit is advertised as capable of sleeping 6, it would be nice if it had 6 chairs to go around the table we found 5). Or maybe 6 bowls for cereal in the morning (there are 4). Also, I’m happy to do daily clean-ups, but it’s hard when there’s no dustpan to go with the broom. I called the property managers the morning after I arrived to ask about WiFi access and beach gate code access (the code in my paperwork was incorrect). No one ever called me back. I did manage to get the gate code from the front office staff, but on the last night of our 6-night stay, I found the sheet of paper with the WiFi information tucked away with the placemats in one of the kitchen cabinets.

A little disappointing...not like pictures posted on website

The pictures posted online don’t show just how outdated the property is. It was clean overall but nothing as we expected based on the posted pictures. The blinds in living room and bedrooms had missing slats. We had to hang a towel over the bedroom blinds to keep everyone from being able to see in from outside.

Condo didn't met our expectations.

When we booked this condo, we knew it was outdated and small but unfortunately, it was disappointing all around. The best thing about our stay was the convenience to the beautiful beach and proximity to downtown St. Augustine. Upon arrival, the screen door fell out of the tracks, air conditioner wasn't working and several light bulbs were burned out. Several slats on the vertical blinds in the master bedroom and sliding door were missing so privacy was lacking. Maintenance was quick to respond and replaced light bulbs. HVAC came out and fixed the AC issues quickly. The other issues weren't taken care of and the screen door was never operational despite repeatedly putting it back in the tracks. There was no cell service (we had AT&T and Sprint) and could only make calls from the parking lot or beach. While there is Wifi, once connected, none of the four of us could access anything. We had some work that we planned on being able to do remotely that couldn't be done. The unmatched plastic chairs on the porch were not in keeping with the other units, which had nicer patio furniture. While it was not an issue for us, this is a beach that allows dogs and vehicles. Unfortunately, through no fault of the owners or management, contractors were working in the unit above us all week throughout most of the day. Thankfully, the weather was sunny and we were able to be at the beach or sight-seeing most of the time and were able to stay out of the unit. The Oceans and Raquet Resort was a nice enough facility. It is primarily a senior resort but there were a few families with younger kids/teens while we were there. We would definitely not stay there again.
