This was a really cute and clean place to stay, perfect for my kid and I. It was so close to the Ballroom that we were able to walk there for a concert and walk back afterward. It was easy to find, and the host was very nice and responsive!

Host was excellent in communicating with us before AND after our stay. Unique, clean comfortable place within walking distance of music venues. Bed very comfortable. Returning next month to stay again. House is on a quiet residential street. Neighbors were friendly. If you stay here, treat yourself to Citizen Pie pizza! It is the best we have ever had. Pizza place is across the street from Beachland Ballroom. Decor is fabulous with original art work.

The host is very kind and made the check-in process a breeze. The property itself has a lot of charm and character, which made it even more fun. Only downside was a dirty towel & a short minute long power outage in the night. Highly recommend overall!

Simple and convenient

We were in town for a show at Beachland Ballroom, and were very pleased how close of a walk it was to the venue from the house. It was also in walking distance to a coffee shop and a couple restaurants. Doinks burgers are amazing btw. I apparently didnt understand the lock keypad at first but Megan responded quickly and we got in, no trouble.The house was clean and had everything we needed. I’d definitely stay again, thank you!!

Adorable, fun decor, quality renovation. House was nicer in person than in pics. The apartment could not have been cleaner. It had everything we might want or need. The beds were great, my son and I both slept better than at home. Street was quiet at night, during the day we chatted with friendly neighbors while kids played football in street. We walked to venue for a concert. There is great food and coffee a block away. Hosts were friendly with clear communication. They made their contact info readily available. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Cleveland!

Tucked into Cleveland’s historic North Collinwood neighborhood, the Waterloo Arts District is the kind of place that doesn’t try to be cool, it just is. Named one of America’s Best Secret Neighborhoods by Travel + Leisure, Waterloo has earned its reputation one mural, one record shop, and one unforgettable night at a time.
The Beachland Ballroom hosts national acts almost nightly. Swing dances happen regularly at the historic Slovenian Workmen’s Home. Record stores, vintage shops, tattoo studios, craft bars, and cafes line the streets, all walkable from your door. Every June, the Waterloo Arts Fest takes over with live music, art installations, and pure neighborhood energy.
What makes Waterloo genuinely special is the people. This community reflects a rich mix of cultures and backgrounds — a legacy rooted in early 20th-century immigration that evolved into one of Northeast Ohio’s most authentically diverse neighborhoods. Artists, longtime locals, young creatives, and everyone in between share the same sidewalks and support the same small businesses.
This isn’t a manufactured arts district. It’s the real thing, raw, welcoming, and alive.
