Very easy booking and communication. House was amazing and had lots of room. Will use this company again. HighlyRecommend!
The cabin was great, the only thing was there was obviously some trash left behind by cleaners/last guests. The shower curtains probably should be replaced. Otherwise it was great!

Reviewer Comments:
The house/cabin was beautiful. The cabin provided my family with all items needed for the stay. A few things to mention prior to staying. Bring your own pillows, the ones at the cabin are old and need replaced. The cabin does need a good deep cleaning, as there were areas of the house that you could tell have gone untouched by a cleaner. Bring your own family games. When we arrived we opened the closet to used games that were missing lots of pieces. There was no vacuum or broom, would have been nice to have, as I am one who likes to clean up behind the family each day. One other area I would like to mention, if you are not use to the mountains, prepare yourself for the very steep driveway. We were a bit surprised with this when we pulled up the first day! Besides areas mentioned, we did enjoy our stay. The cabin was great space for the family, viewings of deer each morning and a quiet place with beautiful scenery all around!
Driveway is very steep might want to list that as well.

I am not sure if this guest got us confused with another property or what happened. This driveway is anything but steep. Especially for mountain standards. There is a hill but definitley not even close to being steep.
We really enjoyed our stay! The only complaints were dead bugs in some bedrooms and the hot tub jets did not work very well. There was also an opening in the outside stairwell that a small child could fall through so we blocked it. All in all I would recommend this property!
Our stay at tge Bear Tracts cabin was abaolutely amazing! The place was affordably priced and held our large family comfortably. There was plenty for us to do when at the cabin and plenty of room for everyone.
Cabin was as described with plenty of space for our family of 7. Older kids loved having their own space on the lower level. Quiet and safe area, 15-25 minutes from just about anything we wanted to do. Easy check in process and we took advantage of all the free tickets to activities around the area. One maintenance issue that was quickly resolved!

This is my second time staying in this cabin and it still did not disappoint. I love that it is away from the hustle and bustle of staying anywhere else. The host are always polite and quick to respond no matter what time I call with a question. Only down side is the road that leads down to cabin it doesn't bother me but my brother others. Another year another successful family trip.
This cabin is beautiful and they pay attention to detail, folding towels into swan hearts etc. There is plenty of space and when we had an issue, maintenance was attentive and helpful.
We spent the holiday weekend with our children and grandchildren at this wonderful house. The space was absolutely perfect, and the setting was gorgeous! We also loved the location because while it felt like we were away from the rush, the house was very accessible to everything we wanted to do (less than 30 minutes). We would definitely consider this property on a return trip! I highly recommend it.
This was the perfect set-up for 3 families: my husband & me, our daughter's family, & our son's family (10 people). It had comfort, privacy, & very convenient to various destinations. The price compared favorably to the other other large cabins we checked out. Several additional perks that came with it were the extra amenities with the house & some free tickets to major attractions. It definitely offered the best accommodations I've ever had!

We are thrilled you had such a great experience! Thank you for the great review and the 5 star rating! Y'all are welcome back anytime!
We had a wonderful stay! This cabin was the perfect setting for our Spring Break getaway with friends. The cabin was lovely, and very clean. We all enjoyed the amenities (pool table, arcade game, basketball, hot tub, multiple TVs). Communication with the host was very easy. We had a minor issue that they responded to and addressed immediately. Highly recommend!
The home was better than expected. Plenty of room for my family and could easily accommodate a family or large group. Everything was exactly as advertised in the pictures. My children absolutely enjoyed the loft area and game room. It was a great location for all the attractions in the area. We really felt like we were at home after a couple of days. We would definitely do this again.

Thanksgiving getaway
Overall it was OK. I'm a bit surprised at all the positive reviews for cleanliness because our party was in agreement that we felt it was not cleaned thoroughly. Mainly, the bathrooms and bedrooms seemed to need more attention. KitThere
This cabin is beautiful and just what we needed to accommodate 14 ppl. 8 adults and 6 kids. Very spacious and thwy have pull out couches and foutons so really more ppl can sleep. Big kitchen and provides everything you need for a long stay.
Scenery is just beautiful and the kids had a blast. Its 20/25 mins from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Ill definitely rent this cabin again. The steep driveway felt like a roller coaster going up and down it but dont let the hill deter you from renting this beautiful cabin.

June 2025 Stay
Our stay at the cabin was okay, and it definitely has potential. The space itself is large and accommodated our party of 12 comfortably. However, we encountered several serious issues that impacted our experience.
First, the cleanliness was well below expectations. The cabin was very dusty and had cobwebs throughout. Second, we stayed during a rainy week and experienced water intrusion in both the primary bedroom and near the back door—definitely concerning. Third, we found mold under the kitchen sink, in some vents, and in the washing machine, which raised health and safety concerns.
Additionally, the driveway into the property is extremely steep and not mentioned in the listing. We would have appreciated a heads-up so we could better prepare.
We made the most of our time together, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
We traveled with extended family (three separate families) with ages ranging from 2-60. We were looking for a comfortable, cozy place for everyone to stay together and spend time with each other, in an area where there were also activities available for the kids if we needed to break up the indoor time.
The cabin was incredibly clean, and very spacious. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out, but also to be together without feeling on top of each other. We slept 14 comfortably, but it did help that we had five kids with us as they all slept in the bunk bed/loft area. The arcade machine was a hit for the kids, and we appreciated the puzzles and games at the cabin. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook together, and we cooked all meals in the cabin. The wrap around porches on each level with trees surrounding made it feel so secluded and cozy.
We ventured out a few times, once into Gatlinburg, and another day into the National Park for some hiking. Conveniently located to several popular tourist areas, the national park, groceries, etc. But honestly, the time spent in the cabin with each other was the highlight for us. Thanks for a great stay!

Reviewer Comments:
It’s was a moderate stay. For the price payed its should have been unkept more. The upstairs bathroom leaked down into the dinning room. There was no light out by the hot tub so it was super dark. The light on the patio outside upstairs didn’t work. There was dead bugs on the floor inside as if it hadn’t been swept and mopped prior to arrival. And the master bed spread was stained. The kitchen lighting was not very good when it came to cooking. It was about 25 minutes to pigeon forge and 50 from Gatlinburg so the location wasn’t close to the tourist area at all. The driveway exiting is very dangerous you can not see if cars are coming it’s puts you directly on the curve of a road with people coming down a mountain and you can not see coming up the driveway. Overall it was a spacious property that worked enough but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’re glad the property provided the space you needed, but we’re disappointed to hear that the overall experience didn’t meet your expectations. We’ve reviewed your comments with our team and wanted to address a few points for clarity.
The leak concern appears to have been related to water escaping the shower—typically from the shower head pointing outside the tub, the curtain not fully inside, or stepping out while still wet. We’ve carefully inspected the area and confirmed there’s no plumbing issue, but we’ll continue to monitor it moving forward.
We’re also looking into the outdoor and kitchen lighting to see where improvements can be made to enhance visibility and guest comfort. Your comments are helpful in that process.
As for the dead bugs, while we understand that’s never pleasant to encounter, it does indicate the pest control is doing its job. That said, if a cabin sits empty for a day or two, it’s possible to find a few bugs near windows or doors upon arrival—especially in the mountains.
Location and drive times are always dependent on traffic, but we do accurately mark the property’s location across all booking platforms. If proximity to town or ease of access is a top priority, we’re always happy to assist before booking to help find the best fit. Some cabins are tucked away in secluded areas for peace and privacy, while others are in resort-style communities with easier road access—it’s a tradeoff based on what guests are looking for.
We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll consider giving Bear Tracts another opportunity in the future so we can better match you with a property that checks all the boxes.

We could not use the hot tub! We got in it even though there was a scrunch thinking it maybe the wood. Well then we got a lot of disgusting floating items smell got worse and there were no chemicals in the floating device. We got out immediately! When we got there kitchen countertops were dirty cleaned them before bringing in our foods and kitchen items. The upstairs shower was clogged. Utensils were dirty. A spatula had dried eggs on it and was melted and pans looked to have been placed on plastic utensils as well. Good things were fireplace was wonderful and plenty of towels. Gaming room was a little deceiving the basketball game and pool table were in a garage and basketball game wasn’t even set up to play. Other gaming was in a loft which we thought it was all together. Lesson learned don’t settle on last minute cabins they are expensive and not as nice as getting an early reservation and less expensive ones!

Bobbie we hate you had this experience. Had we received one call or message from you we would have been happy to come rectify any shortcomings on the busiest turnover day of the year. Its clear we were busy and the crew may have taken some shortcuts that are not part of our business model. If you stay with us again, make sure to reach out if there is anything that is not to your expectations.

Room for improvement
Upon arrival I did inspection on outside and inside. The down stairs door for garage was unlocked anyone could have walked into home and we would have never known. Ramp to back door had an orange extension cord that me and my wife both tripped over several times. At night you cant see it until it's to late and you are on the ground. Inside was nice but found some concerning issues with cleanliness. Found sock hanging in ceiling in main living room. I was seating on couch and all of sudden ants were on my legs. So I looked under couch by front door was candy by a leg of couch. Kitchen ants everywhere we had to keep all of our food on kitchen table. Main master bedroom found what looks like mold by shower. The bed should have a box sping as it hard to get out of the bed cause mattress is so far down in frame and you have to avoid wood on sides to get up. My daughter was putting her clothes in a drawer upstairs loft and found a pillow with stains. Also under couch upstairs found bags of open chips and lipstick. Downstairs were washer and dryer are there is hardly any room to open dryer door as a hot water tank is right at door. Vent for central air need to be cleaned up. If we were invited back again to give an update review we would.
