About this property
Beautifully Restored Historic Ballroom in Downtown
Our space is a beautifully restored historic ballroom that inhabits the entire third floor of this 1800's downtown building. It's a rare find that's both historic and one-of-a-kind. You will now find 3 separate bedrooms, all with queen beds. One of the bedrooms is a loft style room that overlooks the ballroom, which is now open concept kitchen, dining and living area. You will find one full bathroom and another half bathroom. There are also two separate work spaces in the apartment.
There are 3 TV's, each equipped with a Roku - they each have a Netflix account, YouTube account, and several other apps that are available for use. We do not have traditional cable TV.
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Marietta, the area is surrounded by charming shops, restaurants and attractions. Our apartment is within walking distance of it all.
Most everything is walkable. We do include a numbered parking space in the parking lot across from the apartment.

This is a historic property right in the heart of Marietta. We had 5 people and were all very comfortable here. Easy walking distance to restaurants and sites downtown. Nice shower. Check in and check out were very easy and exactly as described.
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed visiting with family and friends in an exceptional environment! This is our second time staying here and we plan to come back again next year!
The hosts communication was very prompt, very professional. The property is very unique, had plenty of towels, garbage bags, paper towels really anything you would need in terms of cookware, granted we ate out as it was a quick last minute trip. High quality appliances. The only “complaint” which is more a joke is someone must have taken the corkscrew, ran to store and for a few bucks the wine was enjoyed! Thank you Max and company for a great long weekend!!
We highly recommend this historic ballroom apartment. It was beautiful, clean and in a great location. The property manager answered all questions immediately prior to our visit. The place is spacious and beautifully restored.
Unique and very nice. Parking and number of stairs was somewhat difficult. That isn't a big deal unless there is a large amount of luggage or the visitor has problems negotiating stairs.
Maxx and his family was absolutely amazing to work with. From quick communication when a question arose to instructions on how to park and enter the property, everything was clear and easy. Myself and five other girls loved the space - from the cleanliness to location, to how charming and unique the ballroom was. It’s a weekend that I will never forget and will certainly stay here again in the future! Thank you so much, and I highly recommend this property!
The Historic Restored Ballroom located above the McKenna Market is absolutely amazing! It is so rich in character and decorated to take you back to another time in history. From the original wooden floors to the wonderful original ceiling, we stood in the main living area and could imagine being there filled with people dancing. The kitchen was beautifully done as were the bedrooms and bathroooms. It is filled with charm and elegance. The loft gives you a wonderful view over the main living area where you can use your imagination to take you back to another time. The property was very neat and clean and I would highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates combining a historic experience with a quaint comfortable stay. Marietta itself is rich with American history, from, this original settlement, to Strenwheelers to The Castle and more and is a wonderful place to visit. I could go on and on! Thank you for sharing this fantastic property with us, we truely enjoyed it.
If you are looking for an historic, unique property, this restored ballroom fits the bill, meshing perfectly with historic Marietta. The property is perfectly located, all the shops and restaurants in downtown Marietta are within walking distance. The property is clean and well-appointed, and Maxx was a great host. We plan on returning in the future.
